I understand you can only take 1 face up (whether it be a donut tile or a order card) but the face down you have to pick can it be of the same thing ie: one face up donut tile and one face down donut tile, one face up order card and one face down order card etc?
Donut Shop is available for pre-order at Gamenerdz for $28.97. I couldn't find it at any other OLGS--not Miniature Market, Cardhaus, CoolStuffInc, Funagain or Amazon. The upcoming Kickstarter includes not only Donut Shop but 2 other games, Agueda: City of Umbrellas and Color Field. I wonder why Donut Shop is included in the Kickstarter while also already available for pre-order, albeit at only one site.
It's common practice by some online stores to try and get an early jump on trying to grab orders even before any details are available. We haven't even set the MSRP for any of these three games that will be part of the same KS campaign. Nor has the game been solicited to any retailers as it will be going to KS first. Retail release will not happen until late this year after the game is manufactured and KS fulfillment is completed.
last i heard from the publisher, it was "late jan". if you follow the link in the shownotes to www.kickstarter.com/projects/chadelkins/agueda-color-field-and-donut-shop you can tick the 'notify on lauch' button and you'll get an email when they go live :)
@@rahdo Thank You. I have the kickstarter notification activated. I was just wondering if there was a specific date given. But late January sounds excellent.
yeah, i think they don't know for sure themselves because the prototypes for the third game in this trilogy (the umbrella) have been delays, so the campaign launch *might* get pushed into feb!
@@rahdo Over on BGG, Chad Elkins of 25th Century Games said unforeseen delays have caused them to push back the Kickstarter date to the second half of February.
@@brianb5145 Okay. Thanks for the update. I liked the Color game okay, but the Donut game really looks fun. I’m curious how the umbrella game will play though. Either way, I’ll at least check out the campaign in February now. :)
Thank you for the review. I think my 6 and 9 year old girls will like this one. It's on my must-buy list.
Love the theme!!!!

no... you have to take one from each of the piles... one is face up the other is face down, you can't choose to take 2 things from the same pile

At 2:43 does that krueller donut count as chocolate too because the sprinkles have a chocolate frosting base underneath it?
no... those are sprinkles
Do you know when the Kickstarter launches? This game looks wonderful and you presented it very clearly.
