Good day Paul That lawn mower, the back wheels are wobbly, turn mower on side & oil those wheels too Every one thinks plastic will last for ever. Thanks
My grandson’s are here born yesterday some complications but safe for now so proud of my daughter in-law and my son life can be hard but chin up move forward 💕 pray for us 🙏
Good evening Paul, I just watched your latest video and noticed that you found a Easton baseball bat while scrapping. You may want to look that one up, some of those bats are worth a lot. Wishing you and your family well. Your videos are always uplifting.
Hi Paul, I finally got my pico scraping operation started, Since 2020 I have been collecting E-waste and separating all parts that contain precious metals. I also have set up two shops, One shop that is for the dirty work, I use an old electric griddle with a new temperature controller so I can set it just at the melting point of solder. I also use glass bead blasting material to conduct the heat to the boards. then all I have to do is use tweezers to pick off the parts I want. Over the last 3 years I have collected over 500 pounds of computer and communication equipment scrap. I have done my first batch of refining for gold and have recovered a little over one troy ounce. With that I have paid for all the equipment and chemicals I have bought over the last 3 years. And have enough left over to put a decent amount back into savings. Oh BTW I am still waiting on parts that are on back order to finish the restoration of the Tube radio you sent me. I had to totally tear down that radio down to the cassis and clean everything. As the last owner kept it in the kitchen near a stove it had all kinds of grease on the inside and tar from cigarette smoke. I didn't smell it until I got it powered up on my current limited variac (just in case any of the capacitors were shorted or very leaky) Once it came up to operating temp it let off a aroma that was vert distinct LOL. But it worked but the tuning cap had a short that is why it started working if you gave it a little percussion maintenance. I really love that all I have to do to get materials is to announce on local social media that I will be at a location taking E-waste and offer hard drive removal and destruction for data safety. And I have people bring me everything. There are times where I will go to a location to make pick ups but it is rare.
hi paul just finishing up watching your video warm day here in virginia i hope you are having a wonderful and blessed day i was wondering how you shoulder has been love watching your videos i appreciate that you pray at the end of each video i pray along with you keep up the faith brother
Amen! Looks like a great day for scraping I hope that lawn mower works out for you. Good luck to the teenager with UA-cam I’ll watch. Have a nice holiday weekend Paul and family 😊
Wow, I was thinking about telling you I get a dollar a foot for that shelving and you started talking about folks telling you what you could get for your stuff. Then the mower thing, wow! I have several push mowers, but they don't work. There are areas of my yard where I need one. A friend of mine was out selling ice cream and spotted a mower on the curb and texted me about it. I went and got it and it had a note that read "free/runs". And it does. God is good all the time brother.
Looks like you are running out of sticker room .Not only did you get a new lawn mower you have a start on your next scrap day with the old one .lol What a beautiful place to stop for a few minutes of tranquility. Fresh eyes on editing is cool. The pallets are really paying off .We have ads all the time on different sites to give away pallets .Might be something to check out . Have a Blessed weekend ,Paul. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
I've learned so much from you and Mike the Scavenger. Thank you for all of your videos ❤ while I don't scrap, I do sort my stuff to trash for scrappers that are here in Delavan Illinois to make it easier for them. Thank you Paul ❤ I'd swve it for you but a 3ish hr drive probably ain't in your to do list 😂
Hey Paul! That’s actually not due to the hinges needing grease, that’s the bearings wearing out and allowing the whole door to sag. I’ve replaced many of them, GM trucks are sort of notorious for that, and I recognize that sound anywhere!
@@donvoll2580 in my original comment I said “bearings”, but I meant bushings! There’s two per hinge (so 4 total). The wear out and the whole door basically sags; making it difficult to shut in some cases, you’ll also get that sort of grinding noise when opening and closing, wind noise while driving, and even water leaks during from rain.
I just advised a friend with the smaller Chevy (like your blue one) on the same problem and the hinges had to be welded in. No replaceable bushings. I wouldn’t be surprised if so someone makes aftermarket bushing kit. You may want to explore such an option. The body shop that replaced his hinges charged over $300.
No scrap looks simple, until you masterfully tetras it in to place. It never ceases to amaze me how determined plants or weeds are to grow in places they aren't meant to. Put them in the garden..... they die. Buggers.
I want to thank everyone that said they were praying for me yesterday. To give you an update I am going to be going home today feeling much better than yesterday morning. They were not able to put a stent in the blocked artery at this time but will keep looking at things to see if they can do it at a later time. But they are getting my BP not from the 230-240s n the top end to the low 160s. They also found my A1C was at 11.5 instead of 7.0 or below what is normal. So they are working on that as well along with a few other things.
I was watching some earlier videos and you did really struggle before the liftgate , a big difference to be able to get the heavy stuff on the bed without lifting it.......But you have to reconsider the fear of open garage doors as they most often seems to lead to more scrap to get 🙂 Like this episode
Hey brother Paul awesome video love your videos be awesome stay awesome be your self have a awesome great bless day and night you and your family God loves you and your family love you and your family you and your family have a awesome great bless weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
That wire shelving is cheap compared to wood. Contractors love it for new homes for this. I know, for I use to put a lot in new homes. Thing is, it not the greatest thing to have. That is why you find so much it being scraped. I work for a big devilment company for years, that used that wire shelving. Latter on I help my son start his own small time company. Many of the jobs he got was replacing that wire shelving with wood shelving. What was funny in away. Most the home we were replacing in, were homes I help put it in. I got paid to put it in and replace it. If you are having a new home built, let them know you do not want right from the start. I use to have some in my home and it is not worth using.
Funny right when you mentioned about smelling cologne, I could smell something cherry, like a candle. Nothing around that would have a scent. Love your videos, you are an inspiration! P.S. I see that shelving being scrapped and think, I could use that in my office.😕 🤣
Paul, i keep praying to the scrap gods that you will have so much scrap but they tell me in good time it will happen, i hope they're right. Another great video, always great seeing Michael as well as yourself when we get the pleasure. Have a great weekend
That was a good video and you got approximately the same amount of money as yesterday but you had alot more work today unloading the truck Every day is different and that's what makes it fun to tag along Stay Happy 🇨🇦🦩
One of my ubiquitous wire shelfs fell in the middle of the night once because the idjit that put the shelving in didn't put it into a stud! Nothing was broken since it was my husband's clothing closet but the racket liked to cause us heart failure and we then redid all the other shelving in the whole house 😮😮
Thank You So Very Much My Good Big Bro Paul The Scraper & Pallet Man Sir & May God Bless You So Very Much My Good Big Bro Paul The Scraper & Pallet Man Sir
I have fatty liver disease and I had to go organic that was too expensive. Couldn’t afford that so I had to compromise and pick and choose what I eat. I can’t eat a lot of red meat. It causes me lots of pain in my liver so I eat more chicken fish stay away from greasy food fried food and I lost 68 pounds I’m 62 years old so and I found out probably nine years ago.
Another great video. Watching from the campground my friend. Thanks for scrap money I saved for the 3 day Labor Day weekend. Love the stickers. Do you sell stickers? I would love to get one for my collection.

A lot of times those plumbing fixtures (faucets) are only finger tight. And take less than a minute to remove from the sink.

Does your scrap yard give more for heavy steel like those manifolds?
For brake rotors yes. Or for clean steel that has nothing but steel

I wonder how long before you find your first tired e-bike on the curb
First ✌️
Try some wd specialist silicone spray on your truck door hinges
To add a comment about worth, They charge insurance 4,000 for the hardware of knee replacement, when it is retreived after death, its value is 45cents
😳
How's the ribs Paul from the attacking ubiquitous shelving?
I'm good :-) 😌

What does the scrap yards do with the wooden pallets ??😅
Uses them to sell scrap metal that is in big cardboard gaylords
good video
That was a nice video
Paul I have a question why don’t you way the truck with the pallets in the truck and then go and unload the truck
I'm selling the pallets as each. Not as a weight
Did you check the black fencing to see if it was aluminum
I didn't. It was too heavy to be aluminum I believe.
