Aww this is so charming and sweet 🤗 I really love what they're doing with these two, in this adaption. That they're deciding to actually make more of Daniel as a character, tying him to multiple leading characters, and giving Louis not just a friend, but also another "brother"... I personally loved Daniel from the books, as a character, even back when we didn't really know him at all. He quickly became one of my favorite characters, after Louis and Lestat. But I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of this adapted version of him. Up until a few eps into S2, at least. Loved the young/baby Daniel they gave us, because he's every bit the Daniel from the book(s), old, crotchety Daniel. Not so much... but then he became that book-Daniel again in the end, and by the 2nd half of S2 pulled me right back into loving him completely again. And damn if Eric didn't do such a phenomenal job, with all of it. But yeah, thankyou for this too, because the dynamic between these two that they've set up going into further seasons. Is definitely something I am very much excited and here for 🙌🏽
I love their relationship, it was one of my favorite aspects of s2, in a season with so much pain and sadness and vampires harming each other, Louis and Daniel's relationship and what they did for one another it's like this small sliver of hope, Louis saving Daniel from Armand so he could help Louis save himself decades later, yeah, it just makes me extremely emotional every time I think about it.
something silly for a change 🤗
