Airport officials should have had the common sense to realize that they were a couple after minor questioning. Aren't they trained to detect if anything is fishy from the outset? But let this incident not detract us from the real issue here which is the trafficking of Nepali girls and women to India and the Middle East on different pretext. While it was an inconvenience for Swapnil at the airport, I hope he understands that such an interrogation may have saved a Nepali sister from being trafficked. However, the policeman who interrogated him and his wife in the taxi was clearly ignorant 🙄
