Never played disc golf in my life, stumbled across these videos like a year ago thanks to the algorithm. Now I eagerly await the next video and follow the players. The opening music makes me so pumped, the quality is unreal, better than the majority of professional sports coverage. Best of luck for your future success!

Give it whirl! I just started playing a year ago and am hooked! It’s like golf in that it can be a fun social activity, but without the snootiness. It’s also REALLY affordable. You can buy a nice starter set of 3 discs (driver, mid-range & putter) for $20 and most courses are free. The only other money you’ll spend after that is to replacing a lost discs or lose bets with your buddies. It gets more technical if you start taking it seriously, but anyone who can throw a frisbee can quickly get good enough to have fun with out there.
Buy a putter and start playing with friends, its fun and relaxing.

Big Jerm and Uli were perfect doing commentary! I've been watching Jomez since the beginning and this was my favorite tournament to watch. Thank you for all the work to make it awesome
The only thing I wish is that uli would stop saying "go in" for any shot that even looks close to on line.

Congrats to Nikko, but I really wanted Simon Lizote to win it. Nothin against Nikko it was just hard to see simons drive on hole 18 shot down by the wind like that. He worked so hard to catch up only to get robbed in the end.

A personal opinion and request:
Don't add the background music to highlight complications.
The clips and commentary are great and solid. It's enough. The music kills the feeling a bit.
The intros and outros are cool though.
1 highlight was forgotten, when Uli said Nikko was propably putting safe over Missisippi 🤣

Uli and Jerm commentary make Jomez so fun to watch.
Damn if Nikko didn't just say after an early missed putt, "Screw it. This putting style has won me countless tourneys and titles, but I'll just switch it up for this final round and spin putt my way to victory." Players these days have literally every shot available in their bag, and it's super fun to watch.
I kind wish we had one of them 'this star in disc golf history clips on the original footage going back to Niko's albatross last year or something, but great coverage as usual; thanks for this highlight reel.

Just met a guy with a JomezPro sticker on his Ford car at Sleeper State Park in Caseville, MI. Awesome meeting people with the same passions as I in different places.
I do think that these videos could be done better, they're the only ones from Jomez I'm a little disappointed with. Just don't harness the excitement as well. I think it's a combination of the shots chosen/order In the editing/music. Gotta say though, the full coverage with some of my favorite ever to watch

If u go to udisc for that tournament it will say how far shots were
Udisc says 183' so 200' is about right lol
I'm new to the game and trying to get familiar with the rules, is Nikko's putt at 7:56 legal? It looks like he stepped over his lie before he released the disc. I've been called on this before by friends and try to avoid jump putting because of this.
Or is it a courtesy thing and something that pros don't really care about?
As long as you're outside of circle one you are aloud to pass you marker provided you are not in contact with the ground. In other words, you have to jump from behind your lie and release before you land in front of it.
@@makalsidface9747 not true you have to release before your foot leaves the ground, if your outside 10M you do not need to show balance, so you can step or jump through, but you must release the disc while at least one point of contact. Most pros dont really call each other, because they have it so close to the edge, its impossible to tell in real time. they dont have the benefit of slow motion replay, in the moment.
@@MrDelsen08 not correct. You can jump putt but have to release the disc before your foot lands back on the ground. You dont have to keep a point of contact before release if outside the circle. If that were the case every single golfer in every tournament would of had multiple penalty strokes. Its only if your in the 10M circle that u cant jump/lunge forward until disc comes to rest in basket
@@ryry562000 reread your rule book must have one point of contact always, inside or outside the circle.
PDGA rule 802.07 on Stance:
If the lie has been marked by a marker disc, then when the disc is released, the player must:
Have at least one supporting point that is in contact with the lie; and,
Have no supporting point closer to the target than the rear edge of the marker disc; and,
Have all supporting points in-bounds.
So Nikko's putt is legal. He has one foot in place behind his marker and his other foot doesn't come down in front of the marker until after his disc is released. Once the disc is out of his hand, it stops making a difference since he is outside circle one.

i watched the tourney videos you made here. this video is amazingly palatable. the music is great so kudos to that talent, but also the string of commentary being so fun. oh yea and disc golf is insanely lit in 2020.. practice makes (some folks) perfect. such a great digest video.. cheers

Baskets are too big! They're 90% from25'. Ball golf pros are 35%. Bring scores down to earth!
That's a hard comparison. Ones a 3d goal and one is essentially a 2d goal. Ball golf is harder in general.
