- Due to health complications, Jeff Tedford has been forced to resign his duties as Fresno State's head coach. Tim Skipper will likely have every chance to win the job this year as the interim/acting head coach in a year with solidly high expectations in Fresno. If that doesn't work out, former Boise State/Auburn HC Brian Harsin is not as crazy of an idea as it might seem.

Tim Skipper is the guy for years to come
Tim Skipper will do a great job. No need to get someone else
i agree 100%.
For the sake of everything that you cherish about your university, DO NOT HIRE Brian Harsin!!
Thanks for the heads up
I agree with the expectations for Tim in order To take the full-time job… Speaking from a longtime Fresno State fan we absolutely want Skipper to be the longtime head coach here! 7-5 We would look elsewhere, but that’s not gonna happen! This team is ready
If they have a P4 win this year (UCLA?) then he could lock it up
Lets give a Tim a chance. If it goes south then yes. The new AD and university are hell bent on fundraising. If the team wins out then the money will follow which will energize donors to support the program. New AD already said he wants to run the programs like professional sports programs. Sad but its all about revenue.
With the new CFP rules, what do you think the chances of a Power 4 HC taking the plunge and breaking open the G5? It could be argued a dominating G5 school may be an easier road to CFP than a P4.
I'm confused about your question, can you explain? What are you asking exactly? If a P4 HC would take a G5 job instead?
Harsin? Lmao no way. He was failing at Boise and failed at Auburn. Zero interest.
Bring Pat Hill back
No chance. Harsin just received the 2nd of 4 annual payments of around $2m as part of his Auburn buyout. If he takes another job, those remaining payments go away.
Second, his son just started at U of ID on the football team. He wants to be able to watch his development. Finally, there is no place in the Valley he and his family would want to live.
Some guys want more than $$
@@LockedOnCollegeFootball Harsin will squeeze every $$ Auburn owes him before he even thinks of a new job.
Go Huskies
Yes Fresno St will consider him. After the season a Nation wide search for Fresno State will begin.............GO DOGS !!!!!
who are you to say this???
Said nobody ever… we don’t want Harsin.. F BSU!
