Its a programme i watch every Sunday . I love seeing the artefacts and the stories about them.
There’s nothing on tv that draws my attention more than this show
That victorian bangle was gorgeous 😍
the British are so cool, calm and collected whenever they hear the estimates.
@John Matrix 😆
It really depends on who brings the items down to the show. My favourite reactions are when working class families suddenly realised their great grandmothers silver is worth £20,000. Sadly more and more people take along items that they already know the value of. It's simply a chance to be on TV and show off a family piece
I love this show
Bisque doll heads Cost a lot of money. And they are not creepy they are beautiful
The lady with her son was sweet.
Wow that was HUGE OPAL and they said it's 800-1000 fcking pound?! Crazyy!!
All that jewellery woman found in tip omg omg omg
Marc Bolans Guitar and outfit.wow!
Moocher son had me chucking. .
Here in the states our history is so short compared to the British isles
The finds over there can be priceless
Many items from the civil war would shock you.
@@kimwhitehead9096 my local pub is 200 years older than the U.S. that's not even old for the UK
The US has some amazing antiques
Wow Fishing and got a jug, from the 14 th century no less. In the United States you may find a jug from the 1960's while fishing
You do know that we've had natives all around the country making things of stone bone pottery etc for centuries...
Love the show amazing
3:24 isn't this stealing on the plumbers part? The right thing to do, would be to ask the owner of said septic/cold water tank, if they had lost something. IMO, maybe the owner called him to see if he could retrieve the bracelet after it being accidently flushed down the toilet. After all, it is quite valuable. When he found it, he decided he wasn't getting paid well enough, to literally have to go through the crap to find it and just decided to keep. He didn't keep it in his tool box, he took it home, they cleaned it and waited for several years. This would explain why he sent his wife to go get it appraised at the AR show. This is what I took from this interaction and it is only my opinion. They should hope that the true owner of this piece, does not see this video. IMO.
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. IT IS STOLEN
That’s a massive leap from the minute amount of information we were given. You have no idea if he asked or not. Assumptions dude.
@@lizkrisenthal8259 Opinions "dude".
I'm 62...in my lifetime I've noticed that the majority of ppl, when faced with a choice between going right or left, never go the right way.
"Find yourself a woman and you can have them."
*YOU DIED*
You forgot the best part, "Get off my back!"
5:26 priceless comment.
Who would throw away opals like that? And in there original boxes ? Duno if I believe that
So hang on, he is working as a plumber in someone's house, finds a bit of jewellery in a water tank, and keeps the piece of jewellery for himself. Isn't that called theft. 2:55
Exactly what I thought. What a slimy thing to do.
Pretty sure it’s a fake(and bad) story lol
Marc Bolands guitar! wow wow wow
I love rock & roll, always have.
How unique you are, pip pip.

Yip awesome opals
The girl that found those doll heads I could only guess the kid who owned those prior wanted a Chia Pet.. lol
Keep up the god work. XD
What happened to Episode 2 - (2/3)? I only see this one and 1/3.
Nice.
Was this filmed at Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath area?
Mr. Watkins has some Wicked Choppers ...
He could chew an apple through a letter box
I was waiting for the as advertised, Priceless Antiques.....they never did arrive.
Find yourself a woman you can have them
Get off my back
Way too funny
Wonder if the son knicked the jewels.
that Victorian bangle was stuck in a pipe? my gosh
Where there"s muck there"s money
RMAOL 6 hundred years old 2k pounds 1987 BOBBLE HEAD sold on ebay 5K pounds, go figure?
What was the rock memorabilia worth?
Can't understand half of what they say!
Me either
those prices would be through the celing today compared to this footage
That son is def wearing those jewels with his mother’s clothes on. :)
You have quite the imagination. Don't you.
😂😂😂 awww, c'mon...his mother already embarrassed him enough.
plumber needs to give that back to the person whos tank he pulled it out of- wonder why people think its ok to keep stuff-
Veni Vidi Vici Not so. If found on private property it belongs to the landowner. In this case it would technically belong to the householder
Yes, as far as I'm concerned he stole it. Not nice
@@susieque176 he should put it back where he found it, then tell the landowner.
They obviously don't know it was there. If your knee deep in human waste. What you find you keep.
@@katamick8541 I doubt that he was groping around blindly in a septic tank. Much more likely that it was a water tank (either hot or cold) with a lot of scale in it due to hard water.
In the former case, it could have been dropped accidentally. The latter case suggests deliberate concealment: either by the owner, or since it was a Victorian piece, possibly by a servant who intended to smuggle it out later but never managed.
These are the best finds???
What was the Flying V worth??
Funny, sweet
If it was SRV's guitar I would have been impressed.
Love him.
Did anyone else notice a muzak version of Just by Radiohead during the first segment with the dolls heads?

Hardly "priceless"
@MarieCurie83 It's actually "I've been running the tip for 17 years."
A plumber finds a golden bangle that looks valuable in someone else's house. He decides not to mention it and walks off.
In other words... a plumber steals jewellery.
Not my style.
But in my independent study I've found that most ppl go left instead of right.
Good
I think it's hilarious that pot guy has now collected thousands of pieces of pottery. ...No matter what the pot's worth they likely now have an immense collection of junky looking pottery...cause that's all they had to go on.
Should I call the bank manager? Start with the dentist first please.
Damn they need some dentist in England ..BAD !!!
The Brits never had the best teeth in the world
Yes let’s open a dentistry business together over there lol
@@scotnick59 We knocked all of yours out. Wanker.
No way she found them in the tip. I call bullshit.
Okay
I wonder if he found his teeth with that old jug?
What the hell is up with that guys hair in the back at 2:53
Do they have Dentists in England ????
Hell's a poppin yes, and actually statistically healthier teeth than people in the states.
They have gross teeth. Yuck mouth 😵😬💂👄
Check out the pretty young girl vogueing for the camera in the back at 4:42
A BIG negative to Antiques Roadshow for never telling the price of the of the damn flying V. What's it worth? After all, that is what this shows about.
It really, really isn't.
Valued the guitar at 40,000 pounds and suit is 8 to 12,000 pounds.
So what about the damn flying V????...What's it worth?
4:09... what did she said?
"Well, I've been running the tip (landfill) for about seventeen years, just over, and I've got it through the years, chucked away in the tip. I've got salvage rights for whatever comes in, I pay for, it belongs to me."
I once found a 24 carat ring hidden I’m my rectum. Wha a joyful discovery that was. I’ve often wondered if I have any more treasure up there.
MY doctor found a dozen long stem roses up MY ass.
He shrieked: "Where the hell did these come from????"
I turned and said "Read the card."
Who stashes pottery on the beach from the 1400's?? Amazing
ERIKA DOWDY It was probably a ship reck that washed up on shore.
Pretty sure the jug was worthless
Good Lord, how expensive is it to see a dentist across the pond?
Rude but not funny at all... Get a life
It's mostly free, like our healthcare... which is why you die younger than we do. Enjoy!
I wish the Antiques Roadshow experts
Could find my Grandmother’s doll and jewelry I had to sell in 2011 in Wisconsin USA because I don’t think I got a fair price for them.
The doll was older than 1910 with human hair, sawdust arms and legs,
Blinking eyes, and teeth in open lips.
The rings were a coral colored cameo
In 24 it gold. And a green emerald (? Not sure if it was real) with wired tiny pearls going all around the green stone.
I can’t remember if it was silver or gold.
I’d like to get the rings back and resell the doll for over $2000. US dollars.
The doll had the making on her neck
Rubbed off
So even if they did find them you would have to pay the market value for them! So you obviously sold because you didn’t like them!
Interesting that people only want to know that something is worth money so they can keep it. Only to satisfy their ego I guess
No. It's important to know the value for insurance purposes, something the US AR usually states. It's great to know if you want to sell it. What you're missing is what they learn about their items and what their stories about them teach us. Ego? Maybe, but not so much. A really sad commentary, yours. It does certainly show what you do and don't value. Maybe this isn't a show you should watch, as it seems to push your jealousy button.
The woman with all the jewelry found it in rubbish? Aw, go on. She really meant, "Well, my grandfather was a jewel thief, but he didn't know how to locate a fence, so the opals, sapphires, etc, have just stayed in the family."
Nah, people near us ran a council tip. They had the legal salvage rights to anything dumped there. Nobody else was even allowed to wander around and have a look, except for our 10-year old son to whom they had taken a shine.
I will if you find me
The bloke with the jug who found it in the sea looks like something out of the night of the living dead.
MrHighgate123 he’d look fine if he’d go to the dentist
thousands of pounds of matching victorian jewellery,
yes we found it in the rubbish.
Good examples of “British teeth”
You sound a tad jealous.
1500 to 2k p is far from priceless
Aren’t there dentist in Great Britain?
Plenty, come up with something new fuckwit.
Jewelry.....Zzzzzzzz!
You know, there’s no such thing as the Easter Bunny... but even more rare has got to a British Dentist!!! For decades I’ve seen British people on various shows from the UK. Just can’t accept that these people aren’t interested in dental health.
Ah!!!! A Meth Monster!!!
Aaa
Vose teef
Now they can all afford to get their teeth fixed.
Sell those dolls heads and fix that tooth...
I used to love watching this but not for stuff worth alot but for those greedy wanna be people who listen to loads of crap and then get asked, do you know how much its worth? And their little eyes light up with greed and they rub their hands before being told
FUCK ALL, loool
Can't understand their English.
They ARE English... so you need to go back to school.
Jug guy needs the money for dental work.
Callie Masters that is exactly what I thought
@@maggiebuehler8484 it doesn't seem they put much stock in dental care there.
Cathy Hughes it’s a fallacy, studies show British dental hygiene and standards are higher than the US. We just don’t knock them all out and have fake veneers put in
@@meandthepotatoes4916 if they can't afford it that's understandable. Otherwise I personally would have the veneers over a mouth full of bad teeth that can affect my health. Maybe that's why British have the "stiff upper lip" and look so unhappy. So keep your studies and we will smile at you with our veneers. Have a good day.
JOn Cooper High standards in Britain since you’ve seen so many with horrible teeth United States and in Canada we actually take care of her teeth
New teeth might be a good reason to sell the pottery.
Unnecessary comment?
Sell the jug. Buy some teeth.
what shite Marc Bolans guitar and not giving us the value GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
He should sell it and invest in some dental treatment! 😖
1:23 Watch any English tv show we’re average people talk and you see their teeth are always in a horrible state. UK is a third world nation when it come to teeth status.
These English teeth are bad luck
Sell the pot. Have your teeth done.
The jug dudes teeth are awful
Dude, take the money and get your teeth fixed!
Wow that was HUGE OPAL and they said it's 800-1000 fcking pound?! Crazyy!!
