I don't think he knows the truth. See when you play certain games we have two planes a game plane and a cut scene plane and when you get to certain points of the game world it turns of your camera and goes to the camera in the cut scene plane at least that is how I interpret it
or they use special charters far off the barrier of the map so yeah useless

Not saying that this is why you didn't beat Trevor to Brad's grave but (at least in my game),it's not actually Trevor that's driving the car. I thought I'd chase him to see what's going to happen but all he did was drive around so I thought I'd shoot him (apparently the car is not invincible once it leaves Michae'ls house,probably because you're supposed to lose it) and see what happens. I killed the driver,went to the car and discovered it wasn't Trevor (the fact I didn't get a "Trevor got injured" notification or that I could shoot him should have been a cue). Same thing happened when I tried it again.

Trevor can spawn himself in because it's a cutscene and he is automatically in the cutscene you can't change that
this is dumb if you know anything about game design you would now that just simply deleting trevor or freezing him nothing is going to happen because when the map load so does cut scenes triggers that are placed so the cut scenes plays

You can't do anything in a "cut scene" because even if u get rid of the problem such as the person the gun will still be floating in mid air and eventually shoot anyway because the game is programmed to do it
