Another pretty site, I guess you can always count on CAMC for a pleasant camping experience. We feel that way about some of the KOAs here, but mainly scope out camp sites online before we book. Well, enjoy that green scene in your new blue van. Debbie - BluWave Odyssey
Thank you Debbie, we are loving the new van. We are now planning a long tour for September and will be making the most of smaller, more nimble wheels 😃🚐 Trev
Hi guys. We have not been to the Bearstead site . Its only a short distance from us and looks nice. We will have to try it when we get our caravan back. All the best Ian, Sonja and Hattie.
It’s not a bad site at all. The access is really good and it’s close to Maidstone. The dog walk is small but adequate for toileting but not exercising a dog. But just down the road is a lovely woodland area which we really enjoyed 😃 take care, hope you get your van back soon 👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
Thanks so much Julie. We had a few days on our own to get used to Smirf. We certainly enjoyed getting to know where everything is stored and how everything works 😃🚐 Trev
What a lovely campground. All of the green and the trees make it seem like a peaceful escape, even with the nearby construction. Sue shares our affinity for nature 💜🌲 I especially like that it’s gated, so you don’t have to worry about riffraff prowling about. The sites are nicely saved from one another, too. Way to go, Sue, driving the caravan. 💪🏻
This was a lovely neat campsite but typical CAMC layout and standard. They are a little like a Big Mac because you know exactly what to expect at each site. This can be a good thing of course 😃 Trev
So jealous we also have a new van, dying to get on the road but we are at the mercy of the DVLA. It can take up to 10 weeks to get the registration before we can get touring again. Love the look of your new van.
Thanks Stew. Yes it’s made by Kampa and I believe it’s recycled plastic. It’s quite soft on your feet and it’s wipe clean. The dogs love it too. 😃 Trev
That's an awesome campground. I really would love staying there. Maybe one day we'll get over there. Course I won't be bringing my camper lol. Have to rent one.
We don’t like silver screens much either. Remis don’t make cab blinds for VW Crafter vans otherwise they would’ve been fitted in an instant. The other missing item is a microwave which we opted not to have purely because we rarely use them and we wanted extra locker space. If Remis do decide to make blinds for this model we will have them fitted retrospectively 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Yes they do them for Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen and Mercedes but not VW. Really quite annoying but they have said they are looking into doing them in future. 🤷🏼♂️
Hi Trev, I know you’ve been asked this before but I just can’t find your answer - sorry. Where did you get the windbreaks attached to your awning and would you recommend them.
Hello 👋 no problem 😉 we don’t mind answering questions like this. Here is a link. They will probably be at the Peterborough Show in a week or two 🙂 flexishades.co.uk/
@@PoshcatsCamping thanks a lot very kind of you. I don’t get my new MH for a couple of weeks and won’t be at Peterborough show. I live Angus, Scotland so buy most things online. Thanks again I very much enjoy your channel.
Hi Julie. Bertie was 7.77 metres plus the bike rack. Smirf is 6.83 metres so with the car it’s just under a metre shorter. We don’t expect to take the car as often in future. Also Smirf is about 30 cm narrower than Bertie. I hope that makes sense 😃 Trev
All of the essentials fitted into Smirf and we have managed to keep a little cupboard space empty for now. We expect we will take some summer items out in winter, like outside table and chairs, barbecue and windbreaker etc. It makes sense to keep the van as light as possible when winter touring. We will however need winter coats and clothing so we will need space for that. I will probably make a short video of this later in the year. Thanks for asking 😃🚐 Trev
Yes that is exactly right. We call your travel trailers “caravans” and we rarely see fifth wheels in the UK. Motorhomes are the larger units like class C and Campervans are smaller like panel van conversions. We also have A class the same as you guys but the very large ones we call American RVs. It’s all complicated isn’t it 🤣 Trev x

Hi Trev, what a lovely campsite, lots of greenery around the grounds. Nice walks too. The van looked nice all set up x

That must be so frustrating.with all the horrible times we’ve all been through with this pandemic 😷.i hope good times will come back to you soon.😊
Hope you enjoyed being in Kent, I live just down the road from there. Nice vlog, take care x
Thanks, yes really enjoyed Kent and will be back in November 😃 Trev
Nice place Trev sue and Smurf about 20 mins from where we live great vid trying to keep up not much signal in Dorset all the best donny
Thanks Donny, hope you are having a good trip 😃🚐 Trev

Great video Trev and a nice looking site. The mat you use outside, under your awning, is that plastic material? ;))

Kent is often called the garden of England and we can see why because everything is so green 😃 have a good weekend 👍🏻🚐 Trev
Bit of a u turn on the roundabout, was surprised when you went towards Leeds until you went back on yourself at the next roundabout.
I think I made a few missed turns with the M2O diversion and roadworks. Thank goodness for satnav 🤣 Trev
Lovely video as always. That site is handy for me when we visit my brother. 😊👍Malc.
We enjoyed it there. Maidstone was particularly nice to visit lovely to see you today 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev

It was a pleasure to meet you all yesterday. It’s not everyday we get to meet UA-cam celebrities. 😊👍Malc & Linda.
You would think ih would have blinds in the cab. Silver screens look a bit cheap compared to the rest of the vehicle.

I agree with space over microwave and Remis do seem to cater for fiat base vehicles.
Enjoy your camper it is a beauty.

Can you clarify something for me? A pitch there is the same as a campsite here, and your campsite is the same as our campground?
