My Fav character! Would you agree that a lot of the gadgets(hero cape and grappling hook specifically) feel made for him?
I think that is why he was there, dead, at the steps of Iris; we are following him on his journey to slay Iris, picking up his items along the way.
i mean they are literally his, and are part of his quest (grappling hook), or unlocked after his quest (hero cape). plus he wears the hero cape lol
He may be strong, but in general hes probably the weakest class. I mean thats the whole point. Although, with some builds, it doesnt really seem that way.
I'd argue elementalist is the weakest class

superbots starting gun is the literal definition of a pea shooter.
8:34 god I hate myself for actively JUMPING INTO those big ball projectiles. It's also an issue with literally every other game I play, so I'm glad I'm not alone.

I thought I was good at RQ until I played as our dear SUPERBOT! (When I saw him on the steps leading up to the Final Boss, I almost cried).
The run I've been waiting for... liked immediately. Will be watching later.
So this character on launch of the update...was overpowered as hell.
This was mostly due to how the now no longer used perk, Bullshot, functioned.
It was buckshot on roids, as each pellet did base damage (boosted by perks and items obviously) so you could do over 1k dmg in 1 shot with the right setup with crits. However, it was amplified by the fact of warmup and freewheel roll was doable. Add in gun diet, and a bottomless CD set up (bag, 1 size matters or 2, credit card) and you have the most OP setup in the characters.
Im sad they got rid of bullshot, but it was needed.
it was removed because bullshot was bugged, and it turned superbot from a meme challenge character to the single best character. he isn’t meant to be rivaling top classes endgame.

@DoktrDoom He still does, maybe to a lesser extent, but just like before, you snowball fast as him.
Haven't played roboquest in a long while! Never heard about them adding another class, loved this game so much, gotta check it out again!
Imagine he took artishock and got cryoyo. Omg that would've been practically a perfect build. As well as the candle and balloon
One very funny build you can make with him is if you have the upgrade for overdrive that damages nearby enemies floppy disk, boombox and all the other items that damage nearby enemies you just have to go near enemies for them to die pair that with max speed and you can constantly be in overdriver while just everything around you dies
I can’t get this character to work at all but I gotta say watching your gameplay and hearing your thoughts has helped me tremendously with the other characters.
I find him fun as a "once in a blue moon" type character, for when im looking to do something silly and yet challenging
Question: Why don't you gamble your wrenches? Cells, bonus wrenches, perks, with nearly 6k, why don't you use them? (Edit 29:04 in...) Especially when using superbot, the option to get bonus smithing joe tokens to gain bonus power cells from eating those guns he offers... 🤷♂️
For the same reason people don't use meta currency - it's just not fun! There is no wow moment where you finally get the thing you need for your build.
Plus, it makes legendaries unvaluable, cuz the last roll with the bot is always a leg item, which also makes game easier and boring.

@@Digital_Dirt I don't remember what exactly drops there, but I think last time I played and actually used this bot the last prize was a Leg item, beach ball, soooo...
@Digital_Dirt unless they have changed it in recent times, it's not always a leg, I've gotten nothing from the last spin multiple times
has never been a guaranteed legendary. just has better luck the further in you are.
