Can we just take a moment and appreciate the fact that Shan uploaded a video of her, not just without makeup, but at arguably the “worst” part of makeup. Half on, half off, eye shadow all over her face, foundation shmeered, and lipstick all over. And she still looks beautiful, even if it’s just her confidence coming through. I love Shan so much and this video reminded me, again, why it is. Shan is such a light and reminds me to always love my skin. Makeup isn’t a cover, it’s an art.

This is the type of foundation that looks best mixed in with other foundations! I have tried and tested this foundation under different circumstances and the best way to apply it (for me) is mixed in with my colorpop pretty fresh tinted moisturizer with a brush and set lightly with a translucent powder. I have worn this alone and I hated it, it emphasized every spot and dry patch on my face but when it’s mixed in with something else, ITS BEAUTIFUL! 💜 I don’t recommend going out and buying it unless you have the intent to mix it with other formulations.

I’ve been using revitalash and that makes the skin around my eyes go really dark, so could be that if you’re using revitalash 😊
Did that to me too! Neu lash worked and didn’t make my eyes red.
It’s the Prostaglandin Analog found in many lash serums! It can cause your eyes to become more deep set as well as darkening your eye color.
I’ve had this foundation for a couple months… I love it!

I’ve been using that E63 brush since Xmas, it improves after washing a few times. That slight issue under the eyes isn’t like that once washed. I love that brush, perfect shape and weight for me.

Thank you for the review, I think I’ll pass on that foundation.. oh, and btw, since you said you are trying new sponges for xobeauty, this kind of microfibre sponge has been around for a while since Juno and Co launched the first one. I personally prefer it because I feel like it absorbs less foundation and doesn’t interfere with the formula as much as the other ones (beauty blender style). I wanted to comment this just in case you want to try it for xobeauty😬 sending you lots of love 😘

The foundation really look under different depending on the lighting. I felt like it looked too oily during the first checkup. But it look totally fine on the second checkup.
Recently fell out of love with makeup videos and you are legit the only one I still watch and still love. I guess my 7 years of devotion paid off 😂

I just got this foundation, I use a lot less powder and with setting spray I find it to be really nice n has a pretty sheen.
Allergies and hay fever cause dark circles. I get them really bad during this season. Taking an antihistamine before bed helps.
I get a jab once a year and it works a treat.

I bought this foundation thinking it would be a nice compromise between my dry skin and the fact I sweat ALOT (so not too shiny) and I put it on and immediately HATED IT - it showed up every pore on my skin and all my dry patches across my face, and I felt like you could tell there was foundation on my face (I prefer that “I woke up like this” foundation look)...
I used it again with a hydrating primer and a face oil and it look SOOOO much better, so planning to continue using it like that instead...
I get really dark circles around my eyes and it is all related to my food allergies. If I have dairy of any kind I instantly look like I got two black eyes. Also gluten and eggs do the same, it could also be your hay fever though. Get a food panel done to see if you have food allergies because eliminating those foods could make a huge difference. I’m not a doctor this is just my opinion and works for me, everyone is different, I’m just trying to offer some advice.
For that price here in the UK, it sounds really good. An average drugstore foundation here would be around £8, so you would pay £10 more and supposedly get a better quality product

I don’t think the ADOPT LOVE code works for animal shelters anymore. It did 3 years ago when it came out but now I’m pretty sure it just goes to the creator/UA-camr again.

Hi Shan. Wondering if you or any of your viewers can suggest anything I can do for dry under eyes and eyelids. I have tried different eye creams but they don't help. Not sure if it is eczema or irritation to makeup. It is really annoying and can get itchy and makes my eye makeup and concealer look dry and crapey. I don't use makeup all the time and try and give my eyes a break. I know your eyes get irritated from your hay fever and thought you could suggest something to help. Thanks 😊
