Summit I think would be a great comparison. The numbers are the same biggest difference is the finish.

I got this ball yesterday from my friend chris forry at Buddies pro shop in Fairfield Ct. I am a low rev down and in player (74 yrs. old)! avg down at 185. Strugggling all year with storm! Revalent . This ball was amazing. First! game with revalent couldn't carry or get to pocket. Took out the Sublime and immediately threw 4 in a row then a solid 10 then 3 more. This ball finishes strong.! I love it already!

Compare it with the asymmetric VEBO. Both have a clean cover. I'd like to see the difference due to the core.
The sublime is a 2.47 rg and a 0.056 differential. The vebo is a 2.48 rg and a 0.052 differential. On paper the comparison is close. The vebo reads the lane slightly later, but hooks less than the sublime. We'd have to see how they roll on the lanes to know for sure.

I cant believe how good my sublime is. Threw it on the fresh the other night 15 min after i drilled it and i was just blown away. used it for 3 games. just incredible. def looking forward to the sublime vs journey comparison

Luis I know you can't do this, but I would love to see the Sublime compared to the Hammer Black Widow 2.0 hybrid. I bet they are very close.

I roll the 2.0H almost every week, the sublime reminded me a lot of that ball. Very similar from what I could see.

I think you maybe misunderstood the cover. It's basically globals version of REX, which is a blend of nex and r2s. So basically the first hybrid version of REX!
Right on the website it says two parts pearl one part solid with the S84 Solid from reality and s70 pearl from the dark moss. I dont just make this tuff up lol

I love strong cover formulas that I can leave shiny and still throw on the fresh. Just bought a backup Marvel Maxx w NeX hybrid to closet away cause I love it as my 1ish ball. This looks very similiar in the oil traction. Will def have to try this one out w that BIG diff

Finally got to throw this in league the other day on game 3. It hooked more than my eternity pi and katana strike so i put it away after 4 frames and finished with my hustle usa. Going to try it on fresh next week.

I have a phaze 2 it really is a great ball watching your video reall helped although i dont throw like you do it is versatile i will try alittle more speed and thankyou for the tips it is the best ball I've ever owned just need to figure it out highest score with it was a 267 thanks again
Phaze II is my most favorite ball of all time and have the most 300’s with it. It’s a great ball. I have 5 balls in my bag and most nights in league I never switch out of it because it is so versatile. Keep throwing that ball and you will shoot 300. Just make sure you bleed the oil out of it every 50 games because if you don’t it will die and it won’t hook like you want it to. It happened to me. I have probably 6 or 700 games on mine and it still works great.

I'm a backup bowler only and I'm trying to decide between the sublime and Violent collision have a low rev rate and low speed.
Absolute might be an interesting comparison with how similar the core shapes are. Though the two don't seem terribly close on paper 🤔

Luis, I need a ball to go to after my Reality gets to be too strong (and even as strong as it is, it stays in play for longer than one might think!).
The balls I'm looking at are the Summit, Phaze II (I know....how have I NOT ever bought a Phaze II?), and this Sublime.
I'm a two-handed righty with prob 15.5 avg speed. No idea what my rev rate is, but I can make it move as good as anyone I know, for whatever that's worth.

@@LuisNapolesI have an app that tells me ball specs and release dates. Sometimes it tells me ball releases before bowlersmart and UA-cam do. I knew the sublime was coming before anything on bowlersmart or UA-cam came out.
Continued from my last comment: I use Ten Pin Toolkit by the way. It's been very credible for me. Bowlersmart doesn't show anything on an xponent pearl, but TPT does. If the xponent pearl is real, it has the same core as the original xponent. The cover is different though. Reserve blend 702 pearl vs Reserve blend 701 solid.
@@LuisNapoles Maybe the ball is available in certain regions only, i tried to paste the url here, but UA-cam rejected, you can google Xponents pearl, and you should see some.
Edit: I was told by someone in league tonight that the pearl xponent is an overseas release. That would explain why we didn't see one stateside.
You should compare it to the absolute. Stronger cover and overall the core is different because of the outer core but the inner cores look super similar. And core shape matter more than most people think.

As far as 1-2 Combo, I personally think its a GREAT ball to compliment the Summit. You can start out on the fresh with the Summit, play a little straighter/smoother and when the summit is either checking up or burning up you can move in a touch and get the versatility angle/smooth power from the Sublime. NOW the only issue I see is with the Summit Pearl coming out in January I believe it is, is there going to be a bunch of overlap w/the Sublime. Yes its pearl vs hybrid, but the Summit is naturally rollie/smooth so how will a full shiny pearl version be? I honestly see it being like the Sublime, but time will tell. I'll also say I've personally always been a giant fan of "hour glass" shape cores. Maybe its just in my head but I've always personally had confidence of predictability with those core types.

I would appreciate if you could compare with the clone. I have a zen and nova. Looking for a stronger than these two to play in heavy oil. Clone is asymmetrical and this is a symmetrical. I like symmetrical bowls. It would be good to know which is stronger. I am a low rev one handed player

I know I can move right as an adjustment but I’m looking for a ball where I don’t have to chance it right. Using melee jab as my pearl sym at moment. Or should I just go to a Asym? I bowl about 30 games a weekx. Also I have 4 bowling balls. Honestly im getting annoyed. Every week a new ball comes out to be BEST BALL EVER. Bowling has become just marketing bs.

If we could time travel and you went back far enough, you'd find some caveman grunting his way through a sales pitch for a "better" pointy stick to kill that night's dinner...But Here's the awesome thing about free will: Nobody is forcing you to buy bowling balls, lol. If you're content with your 4 ball arsenal, then salúd! Throw them until they disintegrate... but market saturation is hardly something to get your knickers in a twist over. Don't want 'em? Don't buy 'em... problem solved.
