I like definitely your explanation , thank you for your time
How long did my man behind you roll that spot
If I live in a mobile home, do you think it would make a difference to paint the siding instead of the roof? I could paint the back of my trailer myself. I live in Tx and I'm looking for something that would help with the intense summer heat.
Thanks for the tips
Your very welcome!
Great video! I am building a new home near Fort Collins, CO and given the expansive soils I would like to use your product for my exterior stucco application. However I read that the rubber in elastomeric coatings can degrade if exposed to high levels of UV. This is the case in Colorado where the climate is dry and very sunny. Is your elastomeric product the wrong one for my application?
Can I use an elastomeric paint over an elastomeric roof coating?
Doest code say stucco has to be at least 6” above grade? Wouldn’t applying stucco near the ground like you suggested be a code violation? Just a noob asking and trying to understand this thing.
That building predates the FHA code for weep screed. There is no requirement to add a weep screed to a pre 70's built unit. They were just painting and not adding stucco in this video.
Like your Video! Can you put Elastomeric paint over some outdoor tiles? I bought 2 gallons & it says only on Vertical walls etc. Home Depot guy made me buy Elastomeric Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint!! Let me know if I can apply this product onto my outdoor patio tiles?? Thanks & 👍🏻
I don’t recommend this application at all, especially if you have a leaking deck.
Use remedial membrane.
@@TwinHomeExperts thanks so much!!
If I’m covering a darker paint color do I need a primer before rolling on elastomeric paint
Hi Amy! I would try a section first and see how it cures, then you will have a better idea. Hopefully this was helpful and thank you for tuning in. :)
135 sq ft of coverage out of a 5 gallon bucket? You mean 135 sq ft fm a one gal can?
135 sq feet of coverage from 5 gallons ??
U should be able to get 135 sq ft of coverage out of a one gallon can.
Can you spray elastomeric and if so what size airless and tip
Is it good idea to use Elastomeric for dark color like blue ? I heard it might faint sooner than acrylic.
We love sure coating products because it doesn't fade.
Is it easy to clean rollers and brushes?
Well
Why does everyone tell me that your not supposed to roll elastomeric? Every time I tell someone I’m gonna do it they say I need some heavy duty sprayer or it’s not going to work?
We roll on all the time. we have had great success. We only use sure coat systems.
Is this a SureCoat system ad?
Its a product we TRULY use within our company and believe in
That’s a 3in brush bro.
Thank you Mickey
👍😁
Has anyone used MERLEX?
yes
CAN YOU PLEASE RELOAD THIS VIDE0 with some volume added...20 db more..??????
Don't do it....don't doo it
it's not "elasticmeric" , it's "elastomeric" .... just sayin .... If you're going to push a product , at least pronounce it correctly .... After all , it's right there in your title .... elastomeric ....
Yeah! Thanks 🙏
