I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school. I love the Catholic Faith and I now study the Protestant faith. Some small notes-The word Catholic means Universal-so the Catholic Church literally means Universal Church. The Catholic Church was started by Saint Peter, the one who followed Jesus. Father Mike Schmidt is inspiring and incredibly knowledgeable. Any Christian would gain from listening to him. Just to help you…the word Catechism is pronounced: cat-a-kiz-um. Thank you for sharing and I wish you many blessings in 2025. ❤
@@tbelsom ty for all the info! I try to watch what I say because I have been told by other “Catholics” that they are not “Protestants” and that I should be respectful and not confuse the two so that’s why I said what I did the way I did. I’ve felt a lot of hostility from some who are “religious “ and claim The Catholic Church is the only one going to Heaven and to that I disagree. The Blood bought born again person IS the child of God or “Church” too. I can tell you are sincere and I really appreciate your advice. There are a lot of things I do not know that I want to learn❤️❤️❤️
I started Monday too!!! I've already finished but am trying to wait to start week 3 on Monday. I'm also doing a Psalm study with The Village Church out of Texas. That's it. Trying to keep it real simple this year! God bless you and Happy New Year!
@@CarolynAmador68 ty so much for watching ❤️ I love how you said ur keeping it simple. Even though I have other things I’d like to read and learn, just being faithful in my daily Bible reading and my Bible study it my main focus daily.
I’m doing the Bible Recap this year but I may switch some of the readings around a little bit. I don’t like how they put Job in the middle of Genesis. I’m going to be doing my daily reading in the NKJV this year because it’s a translation I haven’t done much reading in.
@@TheCripeCrew yeah I didn’t like how they did that with Job either like I said their plan confused me honestly. I like the Bible recap book itself and lil commentary but they could have done better with just sticking with the original real chronological timeline. Sometimes different isn’t better thx for watching!
I tried to do the Bible Recap in 2024, but didn’t make it through the end of the year. I don’t know if I just took too much on while still working full time, maybe now that I’m retired I might give it another try. I might just get a chronological bible.
@ yes I’ve noticed that, but the Bible Recap does a lot more book and scripture jumping in there plan that a regular Chronological order plan or Bible usually doesn’t.
@@BibleGirl2 exactly! The Bible is hard enough to read at times because it’s so rich and deep, then throw all the information around and it’s very confusing. I don’t see myself ever doing the plan again. I do like the Bible Recap book..

In every of that I have ever read in chronological order you do go through job and go back to genesis. No matter what religion you are reading from.

I really tried to follow the Bible recap. It confused me. I remember thinking --why are we here.
