Great job bro. At 4:11, what do you mean to heat and disassemble? and Was the leakage still there after taking down the camera power ic since there is 1 Amp leakage again at 4:21? Is it current leakage still there or the phone turned on and draw current?
Hi - I have similar fault on an iPhone 8 board - connected to a DC power supply there is a 2.12 amp 1 volt draw. Will try freeze spray method and see the results. Great video.
if you buy a new chip from a webshop, you don't need to reball the chip, but if you take the chip from a spare motherboard, or you reinstall the old one, you need to reball it before reinstall the chip, cheers :)
Hi, Fulvio, didn't get your question quite clear, first, we use the DC Power Supply to power the motherboard and measure the current, then we use the multimeter to measure the diode resistance.
