Cant wait to get going on our 64 C10 Duramax build. Couple jobs to get out of the way first. We just found a kneeling factory air ride bus frame to sit it on. Still only half as cool as this project. Years in the making but totally worth it.
Thank you Finnegan for making these great c10 videos plus all the other ones, I find them very educational and I like learning how to do things the proper ways. That c10 is what I hope to build one day except a 68 with the bigger back window, I know the 67 is iconic with their small back windows but hey everyone has their preferences. Love this upgrade you did and hope you enjoy it. Thanks again
I dont understand why aren’t you guys yelling and screaming at each other and slamming doors? Where is the drama? Oh wait this isn’t orange county choppers on the discovery channel! Carry on.
I don't know why people say the American Chopper shit was staged - it's quite obvious that some personalities were legitimately clashing, you don't need a Hollywood script writer to tell you to not get along with someone that you work with every single day. The saying of "don't mix business and family" existed long before reality TV, and for good reason(my dad drives me fucking nuts, not enough to yell at each other like imbeciles but that's not to say that friends and their family's didn't/don't). While the comment was obviously sarcastic, if not cynical(just like I live my life...), it still goes without saying that working on a personal project in your garage is significantly different than working on customer work all day everyday with the same people for years on end.
The so called reality shows appear to be a mix of staged or encouraged drama, misleading events and timelines, and real personalities and problems. My neighbor knew a guy who had a yard full of old dodge/mopar cars and a company wanted to shoot a show where they would build him a singe very nice hot rod in trade for them using and disposing of a bunch of the junk yard cars. He reported that they moved some of his old cars, but didn't do much with them, although they did build him a car. It was basically a fabricated story for entertainment. Gold Rush is another that doesn't meet the eye, and some of the cast members have commented that production has their hand in getting reactions to make drama and they pick and choose what is shown. Unfortunately, you can't full trust youtube people either. Sarah n tuned, was a guy and has become mostly a woman, and guys are falling all over her. She was a mechanic in the service and makes good videos, but finding out she wasn't really a chick, just ruined it. She deleted all the videos from her old youtube channel about being transgender, but the breadcrumbs are out there. At least Finnegan has some realistic projects that average people can relate to, no matter what your budget it.
RyTrapp0 - The last time I worked for a friend, we chose to keep the business separate from our personal lives, it was an agreement that no matter which part was in a bad spot it did not affect the other. Keeping it professional during business and drinking beers after work and hanging out without talking shop is the only way to go. But yes, it takes a special kind of stupid to work with friends and family lol.
Why do u own most of my most favorite things i don't know and i don't care i just love watching n getting ideas and insperation , when ever i dont feal like working on a personal project i just binge watch roadkill , dirt every day and your you tube channel and i gets me fired up and motivated
And this is a lot more advanced than the Ridetech stuff, not to mention the shock comes custom tuned. Ridetech definitely offers some nice, high quality, well designed product, but I've always thought that they've had a bit of a "Ridetech tax" in their pricing. The margins on this setup must be much tighter than a typical Ridetech conversion kit.
I was going to say, that isn't bad being the latest and greatest for lowered guys. Coming from desert truck suspension world, where 5k barely gets your front or back setup, let alone coilovers/bypasses.
I’m confused on the z06 motor lol they said 10k with a trans wiring etc... all digitally controlled with bank cut offs for MPG how on earth does the US do that when a less powerful Ferrari Ashton Lamborghini etc its a solid 300k to replace a drivetrain at least my exp a guy brought a 94diablo for a clutch and ingnition work and it cost 84k
Chris Devine The US has access to a great quantity of pushrod based performance motors, which are generally cheaper and lighter, but not nearly as efficient or advanced as botique engine builders. The trade off between latest and greatest engineering and pushrod is cost to hp ratio.
"This piece of angled aluminum will guide me so i can make a straight cut, to go along with my crooked videography" lovely comment, but on a serious note the camera work has massively improved man your even defending the shot from people that getting the way shows your well aware of everything, it's nice stuff !
The video was good, but the audio sucked. The toolbox drawers behind the camera were louder than the guys talking and it seemed to vary. I'm not sure if he is using a good external mic or what is going on, but there is plenty of room for improvement based on watching other youtubers. The music levels are also very loud compared to the dialogue and it suck having to adjust the volume constantly. He has great content and personality, so hopefully he will get better with his mics and editing audio and have a show that just as good as some of the others I watch. I know a lot of work goes into shooting video and editing, on top of already doing the wrenching.
I love this build, the backstory is cool and relatable, that not every project has single vision start to finish. Its evolved with new engine and suspension technology. Unique and cool to see. More c10!!!
Literally best way to pick my day up, I just got home from work opened UA-cam for music and I saw it was the Mittler Brothers Hydroshocks video and I am immediately sucked in
Well, if you are talking about adjustable suspension... $5k is a bit high but compared to bags, it's about double the cost but should give a much better result. A standard 1/2 line, 8 gallon, dual Viair kit is around $1400. Then you have to add in the cost of roughly 20 or so $15-30 fittings. ending up around $2k range. Then if you wanna go air struts like on modern cars, you got the air management kit for around $1000 plus the air struts that are around $2000 for vehicle specific.
I mean, it’s all perspective I suppose. I’m 19, and I’ve got $8000 into my project over the last year (including the purchase price.) and it doesn’t feel like I’ve done anything to it. Mostly because it takes awhile to make all of that money, plus pay for life 😂 But to others, it’s no big deal to drop $5-8k a month on mods and stuff.
Man, this is 1000 times better than any of the crap car shows on cable where it is all fake drama and barely any real actual work being shown. Keep it up! I love you guys.
RyTrapp0 I don’t think he’s made up his mind on how the finished product is supposed to be so he keeps buying different parts / throwing time and money at it chasing his tail and changing plans
I think he knows how he wants to make it perform and keeping the look of laying frame I do think he has no idea what he wants to do with the rims or paint and I don't know how much you know on the history of mini truckin but this suspension it what every mini trucker wants
Joshua Woltman nope I’m into lifting up 4x4 or muscle cars and maybe one 2x4 hi-way Diesel beater for easy towing and real all made British cars sorry soft spot, nothing like the newer Rolls Royce that’s got the badge but has foreign made / designed parts. I’ve done that part with changing my mind halfway through with my 69 Charger it gets expensive and time consuming but as a hobby it keeps you Busy an example is my Leaf springs I was going to try and make it good at cornering but I learned the hard way/halfway through that it’s better to have a adjustable 3 link with a watts link and active adjustable suspension that’s why I don’t think he’s figured out the final decision because he looks like me on some parts of the building process
Are all these guys working for beer? They seem exceptionally well motivated! While you and "Boomhauer" talk about the new suspension these guys are working like ants in the background. Awesome!
Mike, that's Badass! Very cool way to drop a vehicle. Not nearly as destructive as conventional hydraulics. That setup could work on almost any car, or truck.... Can't wait to see it driven. Nice work....
A holley double pump, aluminum high rise and air shocks..... Sure wish I could restart in this age of HP and tech. Prolly would be just stuff I couldnt afford but would damn sure give me something too save for. ( and add a boat cam to the list of upgrades from back in the day..... no bottom end but damn it would scream till it threw a rod) Great vid like always!
Finnegan if you need copyright free music for your channel check Audio Library on UA-cam for No Copyright music. The music you used in the welding is synonymous with the ending of failarmy videos. Just a heads up as as soon as I heard it I expected the chassis to break in half
I caught on to that as well. And then for the plasma cutting time lapse, he used the same track from DanielJaegerFilms' intro, which I assume is also royalty free.
psygn0sis it's not though it's generic copywriter free music I've used it in the past. I was making him away of a really useful UA-cam resource for creators
I wasn't really into dropped trucks, but Roadkill/Finnegan's projects have slowly corrupted me... That C10 is the shit, Finn! Can't wait to see it finished! (Project updates?) (wheres the orange vette? lol)
The disassembly of that was so cool to watch. "How are we going to take this apart? Oh, easy, just pick it up." This is why I like old cars. It's basically just giant metal lego pieces.
You should really swap to the updated (not sloped) supercharger lid that's now on every LT4 that rolls off the line. It's helps a lot, thus why GM spent the money to design a better lid plus it look's a ton better then the sloped lid which was only made that way to fit under the hood of the 2015 Corvette.
It'll handle worse than even factory with the parallel geometry double wishbone setup. I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'wax & lawn chairs' suspension, but it's definitely designed for cruising in style with little consideration for performance.
Fortune Auto has something similar that is mainly a coil over but there is a pneumatic portion that you can use to lift the vehicle for speed bumps etc. Before I get angry replies, I know this is not the same. I said similar.
There is(or was at least... Lol) a similar system in the off road world, was initially created as a Jeep JK(OF COURSE) kit. It uses a big King coilover(probably about a 14" shock) with an airbag mounted in line over top of a sliding sleeve that supports the bag(like what Ridetech does for their coilover replacement air bags), with that system being mounted on top of the coilover between the top of the shock and the mounting eyelet. It could alter ride height something like up to 4"-6", on top of the lift that the suspension kit increased over stock. Cool idea, but, frankly, modern suspension design and especially modern tires are so good that, honestly, the ability to alter ride height by, say, 10-15% just isn't going to increase a rig's abilities enough to matter in 95% of scenarios. That's not to say I wouldn't like to build a rig using them if I really had the cash to burn(IIRC, they weren't cheap!), they're definitely cool. In fact, if you could manage to stuff the compressor & tank system into an Ultra4, I could see this giving you a little bit of an edge, being able to drop the center of gravity for the short course sections & high speed desert, then raise it on demand in the rocks, but that is an extra bit of complication to a machine that's already being pushed to its limits...
Sounds a bit like the good old Hi-Jackers... add more air (takes a minute or two), ride higher. Or compensate for more load on the towbar... or lots of passengers, or whatever.
Siiiiiiick bro!!!! I was trying to build a cantilever setup to have bags and a springs but I only got as far as the rear. The fronts would have been nearly impossible. Hydro shocks it is!!! I'm lookin forward to seein that thing Rollin down the block soon! Good luck!
devil037 - I had the same dilemma - figured I can sleep when I'm dead, whereas a C10 update absolutely, positively, definitely cannot wait until tomorrow. What if the video got deleted or UA-cam had a catastrophic server failure and everything was lost overnight? Don't risk it is my advice!
I was watching another show with a c10 and they put together a completely bolt together style side tray didn't know you could even get them , They seam to be a great Truck (UTE in Australian language) for modifications , you don't see many vehicles like that here . Keep up the good work.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that clip was designed to fit the factory frame. When They built the custom frame that was under there it most likely wasn't factory specs.
HOLY SHIT!! I can't believe I just commented after DEBOSS Garage! Love both channels. Love Blasphemi, love Quattro Debocho! Owned an Audi 200 tq, but their Quad turbo Quattro.....Incredible!
Yes, that may be true but, its like a tool. You can put up shelves and organize all the parts for the car you're working on. I build cars all year long for a living, the biggest issue we have is organizing. Granted, you're only.....one, two guys at a time working and we're eleven guys working on 2 to 4 cars at a time. Granted, our cars are much higher detail but the result is the same, it saves time....and time helps build the car. Especially when you have to hand a bill over to a client!! "Why does it take so long???"" :)
They're fine if you design your setup within the limits of the bag, there are even some competitive autox & time attack guys on bags(certainly the exception to the rule - you better be ready to pour cubic hours of your life into researching the spring rates & rate curves of the various bag designs, the rate change based on the bag mounting angle, etc. if you really want to pull that off), but they definitely require much more time and work to design & setup properly than an off the shelf coilover that will be within probably 85% of ideal for the average guy. The flexibility of being able to adjust air pressure on the fly gives a bit of a fudge factor that makes them "good enough" for the 90% of people that just buy them & bolt them on, but theirs no denying that they're much more involved to do "right". Regardless, they do fit the needs of quite a lot of people in this hobby, and are a great solution for the guys that just want to build something that looks good slammed on the ground, but is still perfectly streetable. Coil drops in old school lead sleds & such is very overrated - I don't want to have to work when I drive my shit!
Anthony Bonnelle idk, anytime we're told to weld something structural we are told to either stick weld it or flux core. I wouldn't worry about penetration I'd be worried about the overall strength of the weld itself
Gear Head28 this day and age gas welding is where it's at stick welding is perfect for thick steel cargo ships are being put together with gas welders a 220 MIG on what he's doing you'll never have to worry about the integrity of the weld
Astro Monkey that is true the new generation we live in sucks but the technology coming out is amazing your average do it yourselfers can teach themselves a lot of trades I'd like to see some of these guys fine-tune a welder from back in the day the new stuff one and done
If you gusset correctly, the welded portion is the strongest part of the frame. Edit: Also I trust the NASCAR guy, if it's good enough to go side by side at 200mph...
In theory, the lower you go you need higher spring rates when you are high off the ground you want more travel and the lower you go you want less travel, that would be the best.
In other words, the air bags are the opposite of what they should be... they're softest when the car is closest to the ground. The hydraulic stuff he switched to at least keeps its travel instead of getting worse.
It is a lot better than the old set up that for sure, but still not the best, I have seen only one system that got stiffer when lowered and softer going up it was made by Bridgestone, it cost a lot and made for only for a few Europen cars, I do not know if they make it.
after pricing out an entire shockwave suspension for a couple of projects.... the price tag of system is pretty much bang on for a "bolt in" and go. definitely on my list for one of my projects, thanks for showing Finnegan! can't wait to see the C10 move under it's own power for the first time :D
even better down here is, big lift, blinged out dubs (and everything else chromable/anodizeable/powdercoated, and a fancy paint job) with low profile AT/MT treads. do your thing, but it ain't my thing.
Brother this is such a cool suspension/hydraulic setup. Super clean and functional. I hope you keep bringing videos on the C10 I love this stuff. That is an impressive as hell front suspension.
No point in lifting a 2wd, and no point in slamming a 4x4. They each have their place. I am a real car enthusiast, i like everything. unlike your uncultured ass
Aaron Hansen I bet you haven’t built shit. Fwiw, if a person wants a lifted 2wd then that fits the purpose. Not everyone destroys their stuff off-road. I’m a car guy too to the core.
Aaron Hansen hey hey hey have you ever seen a 4x4 slammed dually, don’t trash it till you try it. Just because it is insanely expensive and complicated doesn’t make it bad
I'm half way through the video per this comment. I am so impressed with this information. Thanks for the great content. I would love this on my 99 c10 w 4.8!
Gonna look so good when it’s done that’s a pretty cool set up compared to traditional air/hydro set up, very similar to tech in hydro trim tabs just with a shock on the end of cylinders.very cool video thanks for sharing
Finnegan, you were talking about wanting to make the truck handle well. With the way the front tires and fenders are, it’s not going to be easy to do so. I would look into potentially widening the front and rear. That way you can put bigger tires without rubbing, and you can still go really low and have more room for steering. Can’t wait to see this done!
That's pretty cool a buddy of mine is making a scratch built chassis for a 55 Chevrolet panel truck basically the same idea the Hydraulics actually move the coil shocks so that the ride stays the same no matter what level you're at really sweet
Cant wait to get going on our 64 C10 Duramax build. Couple jobs to get out of the way first. We just found a kneeling factory air ride bus frame to sit it on. Still only half as cool as this project. Years in the making but totally worth it.
DEBOSS GARAGE I WANA SEE THE AUDI QUATRO ON ROADKILL!!
When did they do a audi ?
Bryan Roupe deboss garage did the audi it's sick as fuck you need to to check out there channel like now lol
DEBOSS, you're a real dude making a living who has fun with this stuff, keep it going.
We plan on bringing the Audi to as many Roadkill events that we can this year
Thank you Finnegan for making these great c10 videos plus all the other ones, I find them very educational and I like learning how to do things the proper ways. Karrie Bhurgari II
Karrie Bhurgari yeah but your car in the picture kills the comment😨
😂
My dad and I are working on a 68 c10 long bed. Has a straight six with a three on the tree. Best looking truck ever.
Just saw the c10 and ive never clicked so fast in my entire life
FaCe Vattenkanna this is the truest thing I’ve read all day
Same here haha
FaCe Vattenkanna same
SAME !!!
I wanna see this thing on proper wheels one day, and driving.. eventually haha
FaCe Vattenkanna; have you been waiting for months too?!
I'm usually not a huge fan of these trucks, but when they are well built as this is, how can I not be? Great job, Finnegan.
I was going to guess $8k for this suspension, $5k is actually decent, very cool idea.
The Wakz I agree. Any decent ride tech kit runs about the same.
And this is a lot more advanced than the Ridetech stuff, not to mention the shock comes custom tuned. More c10 videos please! Just picked up a 68 c20 that I'm going to start building to dedicate to my father. Very excited for more episodes!

Lucky’s twin shows up!!
That's to Funny Pablo.
Though the same :)
I thought he was lucky too.
haha i also thought it was lucky, right in the beginning.
That is probaly the most serious & wild exhaust system Ive ever seen in my life !!!
Finally, a real episode of Finnegan's Garage and not the Flannegans and Wibble podcast !
I'm a C10 enthusiast, I like this build...
Finnegan your vids are awesome! No fluff, no fake drama and it's quick, no waiting 10 episodes to do up a bolt. Keep it up mate
Note to self, when wrenching on camera, hide extra tools in your back pocket in case you drop them on screen lol no one saw nothin
ddl2k7 That was SMOOOOTH!
agree, that was slick
ddl2k7 time stamp?

Nice to have minions with skills...Wait that would be "Finions" Finnegan's and his merry group of Finions........
Of all the stuff you have in the works, I think this build is the one that interests me the most.
Man. $5000 would be the budget for an entire project vehicle for me spread out over several years.
WORD
Well, if you are talking about adjustable suspension... $5k is a bit high but compared to bags, it's about double the cost but should give a much better result. For my car bags cost around $3500 to $4000, so this isn't too much above for a much more dialed setup.
I mean, it’s all perspective I suppose. I’m 19, and I’ve got $8000 into my project over the last year (including the purchase price.) and it doesn’t feel like I’ve done anything to it. Mostly because it takes awhile to make all of that money, plus pay for life 😂
But to others, it’s no big deal to drop $5-8k a month on mods and stuff.
What is your car? Air struts are all about the same price. Only reason it would be more expensive is choice to go with more expensive kit stuff.
Man, this is 1000 times better than any of the crap car shows on cable where it is all fake drama and barely any real actual work being shown. Keep it up! I love you guys.
You have one of the sickest c10
Joshua Woltman I still rather have copper head!
It's crazy that this thing was basically moth balled for so long!
RyTrapp0 I don’t think he’s made up his mind on how the finished product is supposed to be so he keeps buying different parts / throwing time and money at it chasing his tail and changing plans

Such a simple yet brilliant design on the hydraulic assist coil-overs.
Finally a new episode and not the podcast
Can't never pay too much for quality 💯
Are all these guys working for beer? They seem exceptionally well motivated! While you and "Boomhauer" talk about the new suspension these guys are working like ants in the background. Awesome!
Jon Sjogren best coment that I've read yet🤙🏽👏
the MRC guys do not mess around. we had the entire front clip cut and welded on in about two hours.
I was thinking the same thing!
It's their own product, I'm sure they want to be efficient make make a customer happy.
Jon Sjogren hahah😂
Mike, that's Badass! Very cool way to drop a vehicle. Not nearly as destructive as conventional hydraulics. That setup could work on almost any car, or truck.... Can't wait to see it driven. Nice work....

One of the best Finnegan's Garage yet!!! So stoked for the ramp
truck
This effectively gives the truck the ability to duck if you need to hide from the cops after doing traction tests.
That suspension is a work of art!
Finnegan if you need copyright free music for your channel check
Audio Library on UA-cam for No Copyright music.
The music you used in the welding is synonymous with the ending of failarmy videos. Just a heads up as as soon as I heard it I expected the chassis to break in half
heh same here
I'm fairly certain that Finnegan knows all about copyright.
He probably licensed the audio.
But yeah, good lookin' out.
They use the same music on hot rod garage. He used to be on that show. Maybe he somehow works out copyright with mtod.
I have now read all the bumf on this suspension and am sold it seems so much better than air ride.
I wasn't really into dropped trucks, but Roadkill/Finnegan's projects have slowly corrupted me... That C10 is the shit, Finn! Can't wait to see it finished!
(Project updates?)
(wheres the orange vette? lol)

It's helps a lot, thus why GM spent the money to design a better lid plus it look's a ton better then the sloped lid which was only made that way to fit under the hood of the 2015 Corvette.
Keep the momentum on the C10 going, Mike. We're all interested to see how it turns out.
The FailArmy music cracks me up
I knew i wasnt the only one who noticed
Right. I was waiting for someone to drop the frame on their foot. Or to do a face-plant or something.
So glad to see the truck back on the channel!
Really? Nobody made a joke about “a full 8 inches of travel without effecting ride quality” ;)
i resisted the urge. get it?
I couldn't handle it , I was dying for a " that's what she said " comment
That’s going to be slick! Thanks for sharing with us.
Mike, you need to get a mic my man!
Lays frame and has an LT4!!! That’s going to be one sweet truck when it finished!!
Now put the old clip on the Muscle truck.
With Dzus fasteners?
zip ties
It'll handle worse than even factory with the parallel geometry double wishbone setup. I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'wax & lawn chairs' suspension, but it's definitely designed for cruising in style with little consideration for performance.
Love the time lapse in the beginning. Videos keep gettimg better and better every time. Keep up on the updates!
Love how compact the whole shock assembly is.
I didnt hear a thing Finnegan said.. Banging and clanging, and rachets.
Yeah, not so good.
That's how he communicates.
The stunt mechanics make too much noise and get in the way of the camera.
Right?! What kind of fool does that in a garage?
Siiiiiiick bro!!!! I was trying to build a cantilever setup to have bags and a springs but I only got as far as the rear. The fronts would have been nearly impossible. Hydro shocks it is!!! I'm lookin forward to seein that thing Rollin down the block soon! Good luck!
Two episodes about project cars in one month? Has someone hacked the account?
i feel like an overachiever.
Don't jinx it! Maybe it will become a regular thing.....or maybe the world will come to an end and he will get 3 out in one month.
On a different topic, has Freiburger given his opinion of your new Charger yet?
i texted him photos of it. He approves and is slightly jealous. :)
Slightly jealous my ass, I bet he is jealous like everyone is jealous of the guy dating the a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.
i love watching professionals work, no offence Mike. its great to see some guys come in with their product and know their shit and go to work.
they are indeed professionals. We had that front clip on in about two hours.
Arrrggghhhh... Sleep or Fineegan, sleep or Finnegan...
devil037 - I had the same dilemma - figured I can sleep when I'm dead, whereas a C10 update absolutely, positively, definitely cannot wait until tomorrow.
Finnegan vs Frieburger C10 shoot out?
Good to see an update on your C10. You've got a lot of cool stuff going on! Keep up the good work!
24:19 is like a boat horn lmao.
Hydros are coming back!!! Awesome suspension setup. Definitely has my gears turning
Just drop it on the rotors like it's nothing
I cringed at that
The studs broke on my Mazda once and It slid on the rotor about 30 yards, drove it with the same rotor for about a year before I scrapped the car
Text Missing hahaha wtf
this guys are kabillioner$ 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
or just smart as a girl 💁
I drew up plans for "hydro shocks" a long time ago. Never had the resources to make it happen. Happy to see them come to be, sad to see its not me!
Do an update on the ramp truck please
Amazing . Keep putting in work in the c10 I can’t wait to see it finished
Was the difference in width between original frame and new clip by design (eg expected) or "hmmm, what do we do now?"
knowing Finnegan's history...probably the latter
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that clip was designed to fit the factory frame. When They built the custom frame that was under there it most likely wasn't factory specs.
It was made like that so it can be easily repaired or replaced . Like they do for Nascar they said at the start . You just cut it off and going again
nz mopar rebuilds - why does it need to be staggered for that? Couldn't it be built straight and still have the cut-plate in there?
MRC's frame jig is set up narrower than my chassis was. We knew it was going to be different. no big deal.
HOLY SHIT!! I can't believe I just commented after DEBOSS Garage! Love both channels. Love Blasphemi, love Quattro Debocho! Owned an Audi 200 tq, but their Quad turbo Quattro.....Incredible!
Before you start working on another vehicle, why not take an afternoon and finish the drywall??
because drywall doesn't make the car run.
Drywall cost money and takes away from the project car budget. It also doesn't look good when it gets covered in grease.
Oh come on......we eat most of our food covered in old car grease!! :)
Nah without drywall you can put boards between the wallstud's for extra storage
Stand up guys and that system looks great. Good job all!
Yup. Bags suck for everything but laying frame at a show....
Drew w they ride good though
Awesome work. I love to see you make progress on the C10 and this is definitely progress. Bad Mo Fo
How do I get the old front clip?
He said he was selling it on instagram but that was a few months ago so it’s probably sold already
Elliot Jones minus the rotors
Theft.
Cool, thanks for showing how the setup works!
Isn't it better to cut a frame at like a 45 then uphill stick weld it? For the strongest hold?
Gear Head28 this day and age a good MIG can put can penetrate to get the structural strength you need
So sick. Love the C10. I think we all have been waiting to see new progress and you didn't disappoint. I'll be waiting for the next one..
Awesome setup Mike, the truck is going to be great! Can't wait to see it finished!
Are you seriously just dragging that bed around? Stop the abuse!!!
Saves sanding it
Vax Buster That's one way to look at it lol
after pricing out an entire shockwave suspension for a couple of projects.... the price tag of system is pretty much bang on for a "bolt in" and go. definitely on my list for one of my projects, thanks for showing Finnegan! can't wait to see the C10 move under it's own power for the first time :D
#DOSHITWITHHOONIGN
Chases Garage dream came true
What beautiful beautiful work.
never will I understand the appeal of a super low vehicle. They look broken. It looks like someone stole the chassis and left the wheels as a joke.
It's actually just a fancy parking brake. The cool (or not, apparently a matter of taste) look is just a bonus.
Stay True fit bigger tires.
even better down here is, big lift, blinged out dubs (and everything else chromable/anodizeable/powdercoated, and a fancy paint job) with low profile AT/MT treads. do your thing, but it ain't my thing.
Very cool front suspension setup looking foreword to see how it looks and works when completed
WE NEED PODCASTS
flashman303 itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-kibbe-and-finnegan-show/id1120485668?mt=2
Brother this is such a cool suspension/hydraulic setup. Super clean and functional. I hope you keep bringing videos on the C10 I love this stuff. That is an impressive as hell front suspension.
Am I the only one that hates trucks like this?
Guess a smooth ride sucks?
No point in lifting a 2wd, and no point in slamming a 4x4. They each have their place. I am a real car enthusiast, i like everything. unlike your uncultured ass
Aaron Hansen Whatever I built all my own stuff. From suspension bodywork paint I do most of it myself
Such a sweet setup... Can't wait to see it driving
I'm half way through the video per this comment. I am so impressed with this information. Thanks for the great content. I would love this on my 99 c10 w 4.8!
Wow I've been waiting a long time to see start working on the C10 again you haven't been this excited since you got it back. ✌✌
Again a great video with top notch workmanship!
Nice to see you using skilled labor for once those guys really know what they are doing
Truck is turning out so sick man! Excited to see it finished!
That's pretty cool a buddy of mine is making a scratch built chassis for a 55 Chevrolet panel truck basically the same idea the Hydraulics actually move the coil shocks so that the ride stays the same no matter what level you're at really sweet
amazing technology on display
Great, great video. Really interesting, the idea & technology was wonderfully explained. I think this is one of my favourite videos.
She lays down beautifully
she's tired of running after a long drive. she needs to lay down
I love this truck so much. Can't wait to see it done.
Its like a liftgate setup with different sized pistons......same solenoids control the fluid for up and down etc....sweet
Back in the day Juiced with accumulators 💦💦 glad someone engineered some beautiful suspension technology, bags just arent good enough these days ✌️💯
Love trucks! Would really like to see the C-10 painted, with all the trim back on. The C-10 is a great project. Great Videos.
Love it! can't wait to see it throwing sparks and hauling ass.
