It is unexpected that "reckon" had more uncertain, casual image.
During COVID, I lived in Australia for two years and 90% of the people I met said “How are you going?” So I was kinda surprised that Philip didn’t mention that expression at all. I was in Brisbane which is on the east coast and he’s in Perth, the opposite side of where I was. So… it’s a bit different???? It would be great if you can get back to him on that.
That expression really threw me off. It took me awhile to get used to it.
Hey there! I've heard of Australian people using, "How are you going?" as a way of greeting each other. Maybe it depends on where you live in Australia.
