He definitely has some crazy thoughts, but I tried offset benching and believe it was helpful in increasing my overall bench.
Does it count as offset reps if I just load the bar wrong?
Joel definitely my favorite trainer I had. Definitely 2013 and 2014 one my strongest explosive seasons.

Dane, you may want to check out Joe DeFranco and Jim Smith's dvd 'Extreme'. They based it on Mel Siff's 'imperfection training' in the book Supertraining.

I've been training off set since 2015,, and humanity since 5000 years or more. It's called gada or hindu mace or macebell training. I don't understand what's the novelty or the discussion here.

Then you are disconnected from his community and from the society he lives.
He’s talking because he makes a good point Terry. Outside of this video, the issues the fitness community have towards someone like Joel because of his exercises is ridiculous as this kind of training has been around for a long time. It’s a more longevity based way of training too that people are ignorant towards.
