A pro tip as a current trainee I want to give you guys about digital footprint is you can still become a trainee you just have to sneak your way around it first. I have been training for about 4 years now and one thing that prevented me from getting in a lot of places was my digital footprint. Anything you put on the internet can be accessible by these company’s regardless of time it happened. So one thing I did which allowed me to get into my current company are these step by step: 1. Get a business phone number to sign up with. Business phone numbers are free and the reason you want a new separate number is so they cannot link it to any social media accounts you curren,ty have. Same goes with email. Make a new email just for auditions etc. 2. If you do end up getting in one thing is before you become a part of said company they actually get you to go on a few zoom meets and then come to Korea to do a screen test and talk with you etc. So before this happens make sure to go to any social media’s you have and go to comment history and delete everything. Some stuff that is not to bad can stay but I suggest deleting everything, making your account private, or deleting the account all together. Most of my managers said they often will turn people down who have a big online presence bc of future scandals etc. They check your phones when you are there that is why you have to do this. I hope that this helps out some of you and I wish you all luck on your path to becoming idols!
i dont plan to be an kpop idol but ur videos are really helpful for people who do and its really amazing how u spent so much time addressing it, people can really see the effort put into this video!!
qotd: from what i’ve seen and heard recently on why trainees don’t debut is either because of health reasons, they don’t fit the theme of the group or the skill wise option
I think the most common reason why trainees leave is mostly to do with mental health cuss the training is intense and sometimes the dance coach or sinning coach can be really harsh on you and I think the reason why they are harsh on the trainees is because they want them to succeed but the trainees might not see it like that but I think the most common reason why they leave is mental health. And I don’t think height is a reason why they get kicked out cuss there are groups now with members that a tall and short and also one of the seventeen members is short
I like what you said on trainees ages being a factor in their debut. Also I think they put Tanaka Koki on Loud, not thinking that he would be in the debut group and he surprisingly made it to the final round.
ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION OF THE DAY!!!! I think it's because some trainees join too late and a group just Debuted , which means they have to train for 5-6 years. Some trainees will eventually get tired of it, and either leave, or do lazy job with training.
Even tho I cannot afford ur Patreon you've helped me a lot! Your UA-cam videos are sooo helpful and informative! Tbh i can't wait to turn 18 so i can actually subscribe to ur Patreon
I think emotional maturity would have to be a major reason. Members will have to deal with the public (good and bad), other members, staff, stress, isolation, long-hours, public speaking, etc and I think its a lot to expect a 15 year old to have the maturity to handle it.
Btw now that I'm thinking about it since you have monthly evaluations (for the concept thing) try another concept each time so that the company knows you will fit every concept well
If a trainee who is talented and fit in company's theme for new group but she/he is not korean or doesn't fit in Korean beauty standard . Will company eliminate or debut them?
I think it can also be visuals, but they can be two types of reasons related to visuals:- the visual of the trainee doesn't fit the group's concept(ik, u stated this earlier as well but I m just highlighting the visuals part) and maybe like if in the group's final debut line-up, all the trainees are like 'beautiful' and one of them is like 'ugly' (not rly, but like maybe not fitting the kbs) so they might get kicked out. But then again, this depends on the company cuz like I have heard about jyp not paying attention to visuals but paying most attention to their talents. so uhm yeaaaa- sorry for it to be that long....., correct me if I'm wrong thooooo
Hi Irene! Im on a throw away account rn to avoid anything, but i have a question. (Kind of related to the video but kind of not haha) So, I’m interested in Korean culture. And yeah, it did spark because of Kpop and Kdramas due to my love for being onstage/behind camera, and I do want to become a kpop idol. But as I dove into the culture a tad bit more, im genuinely interested in the culture itself and not just the entertainment there. Im interested in the food, the language(which I am now trying to learn) the economy, the society, etc. In one of my classes, we are studying different cultures and making food for that culture to share w/ the class. I chose Korea, and i admit, i do ask about Korea a lot in that class because im interested in it. These girls in my class are saying behind my back “omg shes obsessed with Korea, like what the heck? She isnt even Korean. Thats racist/unhealthy/weird.” One of the girls is Korean, so i was kinda sad that i was seen as trying to offend them although i am genuinely interested. So, what im asking is, am I being rude/offensive/culture appropriating/obsessed? Thank you for your videos :)
actually I am still not clear about my 2nd and 3rd question also if we are like training so will they provide veg food cause like my id tell you I am a pure veggie person so yeah can you clear that too

It depends if you look east asian. Also bc Uzbekistan is not a huge economic power there isn't that bonus (bc kpop looks for trainees in countries they want to expand to) so it would be very tough.
By kicked out, do you mean getting kicked out of the company? Does this happen in every case or is it possible for a trainee to not debute while some others do and they just continue their training?
For the trainees that don't end up debuting but complete their contracts or in the case when the company removes them or the trainee is eliminated, In these both cases do the trainees still have to pay their debts?
I think they mostly don’t début because of their looks.Like you said if they are too tall or too short,or chubby or if they don’t fit the Korean beauty standards.
Let's assume that you apply for one of the auditions and you have been accepted .. Then what would happen exactly I mean you will go to south Korea and you are gonna be a trainee for 4 or 5 years at least and then you don't know if you are gonna be debt or not Let's assume that didn't pass and you were eliminated What will happen after this Your will go back to your country or stay there and work and your whole 5 years of training were a waste of time or what Please can you answer this question I really need an answer

hey uh i'm 13 years old, 54 kg and 5'3 (just for info) How can i convince my parents that I want to become a Kpop idol? My parents are quite lenient but I'm still nervous. I did watch your video, and I'm going to perform a solo in a family event. but I don't know how can I convince them to go and form a carrier in a foreign country where even they have never visited, and they also don't really know about Kpop. I am an Indian, you know how worried they are to secure my future, I talked to them that I want to be a singer as my carrier in the future, but they said first i need to set an educational background, and continue singing as a "hobby". They are not wrong, I am going to complete all my studies. I am thinking of giving auditions, and then move to Korea (If i somehow convince them) at the age of 17 (grade 12) and complete my highschool there along with giving public auditions. Also I am a vegetarian, and my parents strictly hate non vegetarian and stuff. In korea, almost everyone is non-veg and that is one of the major issues I think my parents wont allow. Please give suggetion and answer to this question in any of your upcoming videos. I watched many videos of your channel, and they are very useful. Thank you for reading and hoping for an answer in your upcoming videos.
My visual is not good. I have not korean beauty standard. My age is internationally 18 and in korea 19. But Im a good dancer and I can sing very well. And Im ready to hard work and take risk. Im really want to become a kpop idol. Do you inspire me or tell me stop dreaming to become a kpop idol?
Honestly I can't rap good but you should watch rapping video not kpop ones though practice western artist rap and mostly bts rap line rap, they rap fast but slow it down get the words good and keep practicing

@@LuvieIrene Thank you
Hii I have a question! How cam they check your background?
various methods but mainly digital footprint
@@LuvieIreneHola he visto muchos videos sobre idol pero en los comentarios veo que siempre comentan "huella digital" a que se refieren?💗
hey uh i'm 13 years old, 54 kg and 5'3 (just for info) How can i convince my parents that I want to become a Kpop idol?
