- Hey there family! So in the last vlog, I bought some things in bulk. This is how I have learned to store them so they last for longer and don’t go bad.
Do you have better solution ideas? How do you store your tomatoes and peppers for the long haul

I use Ziploc bags a lot for storing my food. freezing my meat, veggies and even when I make jollof rice,I make a big pot of rice and freeze some. some of the plastic bowls take a lot of space in the freezer.

@@BlessingBenjamin-tn1mo I personally don’t like to freeze rice or pasta. I don’t like the texture once it’s thawed out.

Won't the ones you stored in ziplocs wilt? How do you prevent them from wilting in the freezer?

@@tokinicg you’re welcome. It’s mostly tomatoes and peppers that I store like this. It doesn’t matter if they get soft because I’m still going to blend anyway. But they usually stay firm and frozen until I thaw them out to use.
I got the containers from a store close to me. You can check Spar, Market Square, etc.

Yes, I do that. I forgot to show that bit. I use making tape to label the containers.
