Thank you, the panda is 11 cm x 7.5 cm which is 4.5" x 3" with using 4 ply crochet cotton and a 1.25mm hook.

You could, or you could use No. 20 crochet cotton which would make it smaller.

Hi Kerri, I am trying to make a Panda Bear that is standing like the panda bear in the Eric Carle story 'Panda Bear Panda Bear What do You See". I would have used a 1.5mm hook. For appliqués I use a size or two smaller hook than I’d normally use for the weight yarn.

yOUR ANIMALS ARE SO REAL LOOKING. i THINK THEY ARE GREAT.
