Nahida and Wanderer interactions are pretty funny… and touching, if you think about it. I’m sure Nahida wouldn’t stop him if he really wanted to leave, but Wanderer actually doesn’t want it, even though he calls himself a prisoner. Because he is just happy to have someone truly care about him again.

I love how Wanderer has so many more subtle facial expressions that tell how he actually feels because he's definitely the guy who never admits his true thoughts... He's all sarcasm and "hmph" and "that's ridiculous" here but if you pay attention to his facial expression you can see that nearly every time he's looking at Nahida he's smiling down at her. Like smiling. Not smirking. SMILING. It's perfect I friggin love it. I'm 99.999% sure he genuinely was amused/touched by what she said about him staying in Vahumana and reconciling with his past and fate because when the camera zooms in on him he's FRIGGIN SMILING SO DARN SOFTLY. Only once she stops talking does he go back to his attitude.
