She could of continued the pregnancy but there was no guarantee that the baby would survive that long. This is such a sad storyline, but Shona and James are acing it so far.

The baby had a genetic disorder that meant she wouldn’t have survived even with surgery. If it was just the issue of her organs being outside her body and there wasn’t a genetic condition involved, she could have had the surgery and lived.
