I'm currently reading "Refuse to Choose" by Barbara Sher and it opened my eyes to the possibility of designing my work and life according to my passions and interests. I would really recommend the book for multi-passionate people.

Wow thank you for introducing me to the portfolio career concept. I am going to start looking into that and using that language. Cause there's nothing wrong with having your hand in multiple things. And as someone who studies communication for a living I support all your claims around wanting to get that job!! Human interaction means so much to our lives.
thank you for always inspiring us and showing us what's possible. im about to watch back our reading and take notes, AGAIN. Ive always said that I just want to make money by just existing and im not there.......yet. It's true that we all have these unique gifts but sometimes when things come "easy" for us, we don't realize that the gift has been there all along. Yes girl! I’ve been working on this myself. I was actually questioning myself a lot. I’m also a Gemini midheaven so I’ve been all over the place with career having people think I don’t know what I’m doing . Imagine while building portfolio careers we could also combine and collaborate with others doing similar thing to help each other with our services and start a whole agency😌❤️

I love your natural locs when they aren’t professional styled…they’re very pretty. Mine have shriveled up so much. Yours kept a lot of length.
Well I wouldn’t say they aren’t professionally styled cause I do go to the salon to get them retwisted every 4-5 weeks lol. This was also a pretty fresh retwist only like a week old. They do start to shrink a bit over time
@ what I meant was when your locs aren’t in a style and they have a little frizz to them. Typically when you get a re-twist you also get a style. I think yours look cute when you’ve taken them out of the style and after a fresh wash. It was meant to be a compliment but I guess I messed that up.🤣🤣

I feel the same on the automatic vibe of going in for an interview. I used to work at one location there I hit it of instantly I loved my coworkers we were like a literal family. I ended up transferring to a closer location and the vibes are not the same.

I always loved the store associates outfits and wish I had a stylish outfit to rock for 2weeks. I have like 2 decent outfits and the rest are just casual (going to the store look). Hoping to up my style one day!
