Atreyu seem really tight live, I don't listen to them a lot anymore but I'd see them in a heart beat. I watched them on the Rock Am Ring 2019 live stream and they blew Trivium way off the stage with ease, a lot more charisma, looked a hell of a lot more fun and better with crowd participation.

Not sure if I agree with that statement entirely, both times I saw them Matt seemed to have the crowd in the palm of his hand. First time being my first ever concert and Matt was literally only a few years older than I was (I was two months away from being 16, which would have made Matt roughly 19. He stopped the show & handed out bottles of water for everyone cus the venue was rammed, oversold and a bit volcanic temperature wise. I'm sure he'd still do the same today, thing is Trivium's downfall has always been inconsistency which I've noticed through many live streams goes with their live performances from time to time, the Rock Am Ring/Park was one of 'em. Matt sometimes has some real cringeworthy stage banter sometimes, I think he's just a bit of a "boob" haha. *insert outdated leave Trivium alone meme here*. Apologies for the borefest essay I'm just weird like that!
these guys come from the same era as avenged sevenfold. i think these guys kick ax7's ass, but will never make mainstream like ax7 has because of the harsh screaming. maybe thats better though, there's no selling out with this band
The drummer sings the clean choruses and the frontman just screams, so there are certain parts where the frontman isn't doing anything, and a professional works the crowd when they're not busy
