Yakuza 0 is without a doubt the greatest Yakuza game of all time , Been with the franchise since 2005 on PS2 and honestly 0 managed to surpass every awesome entry in this legendary series , Not only its the best in the franchise but also it has the best soundtrack I have ever heard from a emotional heavy story game , Kuze to me is one of the greatest characters in Yakuza and his theme is the Rocky balboa theme of video games , This theme fucking rules !! , Truly this game is the greatest prequel ever in gaming , Am so proud to be a Yakuza fan , Thank you so much for this badass cover of Daisaka Kuze 👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
I only played a little bit of Yakuza 3 a long time ago, before I finally got around to starting the series proper with Yakuza 0. Put over 100 hours into that, and for some reason the whole way I had this nagging feeling at the back of my mind: "Oh man, this is just too good. I hope I'm not spoiling the rest of the series by playing the best game first..." After finally completing Y0, I just had to immediately dive into Kiwami, and... er... it's not like it isn't fun at all, but wow is it ever a step down. I'm determined to push myself through this series but it seems I have a struggle ahead of me. 😐 That said, I see a lot of people dumping on Yakuza 3 but from what I remember of the bits I played, that game was super fun! The story of Daddy Kiryu taking care of the orphaned kids is a legit tear-jerker, too!
@@0Fyrebrand0 Don’t sleep on Yakuza 3 , Yes Kiwami 1 is not close to the legendary Yakuza 0 but I still love it for the story because my god Nishikiyama just killed it in Kiwami 1 , and I felt really sad for him , I cried for him , But Don’t worry , Kiwami 2 is way better than Kiwami 1 .
@@0Fyrebrand0 All the games are pretty good. Yakuza 3's main issue is how dated the combat feels IMO. It's a good story and Yakuza 0 and 4 work well together story wise. I feel Yakuza has the Bethesda problem where it's going to be hard to top your first game.
I'd say 0 is second after 5! Also for the people in the comments saying the rest of the games are bad: Kiwami is a good game it just starts a bit meh Kiwami 2 even better, 3 is probably due to the filler it has in the story (Which is annoying) as well as the outdated combat. Yakuza 4 is good and has a lot of things to do and its story is also quite interesting, 5 is in my opinion the best game of all time. For many reasons! The story, the combat, the characters, the minigames (Like hunting, driving, etc..) and more. 6 is very good. It's the first game on the new engine (2016-2021 so far), the story is really good, the map is good, the graphics and everything just not on the level of 5 and doesn't have that many minigames. What I'm trying to say is that every Yakuza is amazing. I'd rather play 3 which is my least favourite yakuza than my favourite non- yakuza game (Red Dead Redemption 2) so yeah Yakuza is my favourite game series of all time!
Daisaku Kuze. he is the perfectly written villain in the franchise. he ain't a pussy like most of the other villains, and he doesn't give up after a fight or two, even after losing a finger (that he willingly chopped off). he's dedicated, has the means, and won't stop until he completes his goal. kinda wish he'd make another appearence.
@@gangster4208 Me too...I didn't want the fight to end. His character was just amazing how he transitioned from someone you hated to one of the most respected Yakuza in the game.
Because Kuze had more than just his job in that fight. To him, it was personal. Kiryu's mere existence made him into the demon he is. He's not here to kill you. He's here to make sure you never existed. And he's doing it for nobody but himself by the final fight. That's why Kuze is one of the greatest antagonists in the series
I remember fighting Kuze for the first time. I was far too focused on just surviving to listen to the song, having not really gotten a grasp on the fighting mechanics until fighting him for the first time. The second fight in the sewers though, that's when I finally heard the song and was like "Damn this slaps! Come on you stubborn old man, let's go!"
This is totally amazing! Computer games clearly have some of the best tunes (vocal and instrumental) ever written. I LOVE the Koei games (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi) tunes too.
I'm so late to the party like I was late to this game xD Played it last year, clocked 200+ hours in a month and basically gave myself carpel tunnel syndrome xD Of course this battle was my favorite for the music and you took what was already good and made it even more epic !! :'D
*HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, OLD MAN?!*
Oi Oi , Kuze's my guy
"The man who gets beaten down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end; he's the one who loses." -Daisaku Kuze.
It was Kuze that was always teaching Kiryu.
That's R A D!
Holy shit!
It's a revelation!

His popularity got him an appearance in Yakuza Online, if that counts for anything.
Also out of Awano and Shibusawa his ideals of the Yakuza is more the old school rendition of what the Yakuza is during the 80s.

Thanks, Vergil.
Wait, the guy who composed music for F-Zero GX did this!? Hell yeah! Awesome arrangement dude.
Side note, those curtains are sick!
Jack, Jules, and Jerod the 3 lieutenants of the Shred Family
So that would mean
Jack = Kuze
Jerod = Awano
Jules = Shibusawa
Right?
So, who's Dojima supposed to be?

Why the hell this thing is so underrated it should have over 3 million views right now and they do I discover this one year later.
Never heard the song. Never played the game before. Still one of the best covers you've done in years
You're missing out! The Yakuza games are brilliant!
Dang, Jack, you have just been pumping out absolute BANGERS lately!!! Frickin amazing
Nanomachines, Jack.
When this got teased in one of your shred streams, I had a suspicion that this was the track you were gonna cover! So good!
man, for me Kuze in his final battle is harder than the other 3 last bosses...
Because in the last fight he got buffed super hard with FEELS that he can put tears in your eyes it's too blurry to fight.
I wish they gave him 30 hp bars

I dunno, Lao Gui sucks too
Aww yeah Kuze theme was so damn good thank you for a nice cover.
I see Yakuza, I click
God this is a great cover, the harmonizing guitars before the verse are such a fantastic addition
Hell yeah just the inspiration i needed to play through Yakuza again

Hell Yeah!!!! i was waiting for this cover!!!! ^w^
If Yakuza would have an American remake like USA of 70-80 this would be a good theme for American version of Kuze named... Chris?
It's feels like real yakuza song. Thats cool
