I love being a grandmother, what a joy! Little ones bring so much joy! I so enjoy your videos, thank you Caroline! Put your wip bag with your purse. :) 🎄☃️🥰
I Love being a Grandma! My 13 grandkids call me Nana. Sometimes dandelions bloom in my garden, but they provide every grandchild an opportunity to pick a love bouquet for me!
You are so right about Canada being a beautiful country! I now live in Ontario but have travelled Canada from the East to West Coast and love seeing all the beautiful places that we are lucky to call our home. ❤️
I love watching your videos. I know exactly what you mean with not having the project that you want to stitch with you. You get your mind set…then nothing.😭❤️
I love the grandmother's garden project. It reminds me visiting my grandmother in Nebraska during the summers and seeing her flower growing in her garden.
A few years ago, I took my stitching back and forth every day to work and home, and Wednesday nights I had a stitching get together. I was constantantly forgetting my bag. I finally just put a project in my bag that I dedicated to staying at work, a bag for Wednesday stitching, and my other project at home. It cut my frustration way down. You could leave 2 projects at home for stitching evenings and weekends this month and 2 for work stitching. Switching them out every week could still rotate them enough that your viewers could see your progress. I love seeing what you are working on. It been a fantastic flossmas so far.
I have three beautiful grandchildren that I love spending time with. They brighten my day. I know how you felt about leaving your stitching at work. I would be disappointed too! Your stitching is very pretty.
I love stitching Kathy's Hands on Design charts! I totally understand how after planning on stitching your projects that you left in the office, what you had at home just wouldn't do! And I can also see how men wouldn't understand that :) I'm enjoying having you back on a regular schedule, even if it's only temporary during FLossmas. Thank you!
I smiled so much at your story of your four projects being left at work! My husband has expressed the same thoughts when I can’t work on what I’ve planned on…as there is so much there! 😏 I do love stitching Kathy’s Hands On Designs …and I’m a Grandma with lots of love and flowers! But most of all I love, love, love seeing/hearing/enjoying you every day!! I truly miss your friendly, comforting chats and hope you will be able to pop in on flosstube in 2022…even if it’s a shorter one!! Hint, hint! 😍
Caroline, I totally get your deflation! John’s reaction made me laugh too. Two things I love most - my 8 grandchildren, and playing in my garden. Have a great day!
Isn't that the way it is....big plans and then you leave the pattern at home/work. I think we've all done things like this. Here's to remembering your wip bag! I love stitching HOD patterns, she's so talented.
I missed your flosstube yesterday! I have come to love your flossmas sessions! And I love Cathy Habermann’s designs. She is an especially lovely person!
Oh no, and you had such expectation of doing more stitching! I know how that feels, when you really want to stitch on a specific chart and it is not on-hand-then nothing seems to fulfill the desire. I love Kathy's designs and this is an especially sweet stitch. Have a wonderful day and evening, see you when you return. Happy holidays to you and your family.
I love the chart and I also loved visiting. PEI , what a beautiful place and an amazing bridge. When we drove back across it there was a wonderful sunset.
I know the feeling of leaving your stitchy work behind, I had work done on my car yesterday and was totally bummed when I realized I left mine project at home. I ended up spending an hour playing games on my phone, absolutely no feeling of accomplishment! As a kid I would love going to my grandma’s house and garden. Some days I still wish I could do that one more time. I’m a grandma now and hope I can I instill that feeling for my own grandchildren.
Totally understand the stitching story...here’s to hoping not another forgotten night! I did that on a vacation what a nightmare....now I pack stitching first🥰
One time I left an important cross stitch project at our camp, which is 4 hours away. I felt we should go back to rescue my project, sooo we went back to camp in 9 weeks. From now on I leave a couple projects to work on at camp. I love flossmas and what you are working on.
I’m so glad you mentioned Miss Pattie, I am hoping she will be attending Stitch North and bring a couple of her pillows for viewing. I love the look of the large pillows and would like to give it a try.
Like you, I did not get any stitching done last night and was disappointed in myself. I do love the word Grandma as it brings up plenty of sweet memories. Get plenty of stitching done this evening!
I know how you feel when you plan to work on certain item but you left either home or office nonthing will work. I sure loved my Grandma and she loved me. You take care and stay safe. Walk in Peace.

My MFE’s are about at the same stage as you.
When you say you stitched two lengths of thread is that 2 of 6 or two full lengths (12 threads)
2 lengths of whatever I’m using - so when stitching 2 over 2, I mean 4 of the six strands.
