This mode is such a downgrade from the original Walker Assault. Ships move super slow and don't even do strafing runs. Half of the mode is just missions attack/defend inside the base and there's cross era heroes everywhere. Also, this mode isn't playable offline and feels abandoned and unfinished. I'd much rather play the 2015 version.

Can I chose which side and fight?
Nah they assign the sides randomly when matchmaking but switch over when the match ends.
