Thank you for your thoughtful comment. Agreed Le Corbusier himself would have preferred the term “Purist” he used for his painting at the time. However, a century later, I doubt he would have rejected the Cubist label-please see my book, "Paris in Architecture, Literature, and Art" where I explain the term of Cubist Architecture in more details.
