A few things that will make the story clear: The pictures Annie drew of the woman in the ground was her old mother. The woman in this video is her stepmom and step sister which is why the dad says "she's still our child" and woman goes "no your daughter is a monster" The sister is named Daisy and that's why they show a burning daisy at the end after she died in the river, I think it also represents the innocence of youth burning up and disappearing since Annie lost everything at that point and was in the big world alone with nobody but Tibbers her magical bear
@@watchdeesi9547 Both, actually. Annie's mother was a powerful mage, and Annie inherited her powers, but Tibbers is containing a powerful fire demon Tybulk, so he is also magical.
Her real mother bound the fire demon to the Teddy bear to be her bodyguard. That's also why the fire always breaks out in the bear when she is in danger (at the river almost falling in the water) or when they are threatend to get separated (the other two occasions). Riot also made a real good video about the making of of her origin story.
