I don't care what anyone says, a stick shift, AWD minivan is now kool. I know a few Chrysler 5 speed turbo minivans made it out of the factory as well, though I don't think any of them were AWD. The whole car hobby is centered around older people that now have a little money, trying to find the cars of their youth. A whole bunch of us grew up with minivans in the pre-SUV craze, and that Mazda is kinda the ultimate minivan.
The car that really floored me however, was that '57 pontiac sedan delivery. A quick search tells me only 857 of those babies were built, Canada only. My guess is that there can't be more than a hundred left.
I know you are a Chrysler guy Scott, but that Pontiac could be worth a fair bit of coin. You should really consider picking it up and flipping it. Unfortunately I think Dean might have a heart attack if he sees it in the yard, so he should be heavily medicated beforehand.
I always enjoy a trip through a junkyard, especially when the guys I am with are equally as adept at calling out make model and year from 100 yards. I could spend days combing through Clayton's, in some ways I am like Dean, I wish they all could be saved...

Clayton's yard could become a tourist attraction, utter bliss, thanks.
Menthol flavour was impregnated into the filters, not tobacco.

Thanks again for another visual escape from reality...you guys are stars.

The first video I saw of yours I saw was you buying the 60 Fury out of the pasture and splicing it then I saw the one of you splicing the 58? Savoy hardtop onto the four door Regent frame and then I watched your others, Now I want to see you move your cars so you have all of the forward look cars you own lined up in a row so we can see how many you have and see which ones can be made better with parts from the ones that are completely gone, Like putting the engine from the four door donor Fury into the Windsor so it can be driven to the road and back! You have me hooked on on the forward look cars!

Mazda MPV gets a shout-out in the Wu-Tang Clan hit C.R.E.A.M.! Supposedly Biz Markie got one first (he actually got 2 right away), and DJ Premier got one soon after. Premier set his up with a crazy aftermarket stereo system and it became famous in the NYC hip hop community. Biggie Smalls even shouts it out. You've got a legit piece of old school Bronx hip hop history in that MPV!

TOP SPEED WAS ABOUT 155 MPH WHERE IT FELT LIKE IT WAS ABOUT TO GO AIRBORN ON A FLIGHT TO THE DAMN MOON. I LOVED THAT CAR, IT WAS BULLETPROOF. I NEVER KNEW WHAT REAR END RATIO IT BUT IT HAD TO BE REALLY HIGH. THERE WERE NOT MANY CARS BACK THEN THAT WOULD GO THAT DAMN FAST, THAT 300K CONVERTIBLE WAS A BEAST!
I LOVE YOUR DOG FRANKERS GIVE HER A BIG HUG FROM ME! I HAD TWO STANDARD POODLES WHO HUNG AROUND THE BODY SHOP WITH ME, I LOST THE LAST ONE ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO AND STILL THINK ABOUT THEM ALMOST DAILY. MY FIRST ONE LIVED TO BE 16 YEARS OLD WHICH IS A LONG TIME FOR A STANDARD POODLE. THEY ARE SMARTER THAN A LOT OF PEOPLE AND MUCH MORE LOYAL AND LOVEABLE TOO. What a time to be alive and what amazing cars from that era. I love that CWM is dedicated to reviving the old forgotten feild cars of that era. What a treat to watch history being saved and cherished!! Keep up the good work guys and now I'm looking in old forgotten cars for dart packages!! 😆😆😆

Hi! Time to do a little work on the awesome 1961 Plymouth Belvedere hardtop I picked up earlier this summer... A trip to Clayton's is always something to look forward to... Then, a visit from Agent 673 means a chance to shoot another episode of "Classic Darts", so we have a "special treat" in store this week, haha!
We're waiting for parts for the "Straight-8-Showdown", but it'll be back with a vengeance next weekend! Thanks everyone for checking that series out; we're having a lot of fun with those babies, and I'm slightly optimistic that we'll have a real horse race here!
Please hit the ol' "like" button if you enjoy like this kind of thing... ( It really helps the vids get seen) cheers!**
If you'd like to support our show, please visit our website at:

      Greasy jeans and busted knuckles,
Life up here sure don't suckle.
      Skeeters buzzing big as bats,
But we don't worry none at that.
      Fixing stuff that shouldn't run
      Mostly makes our major fun.
When we depart this mortal coil
Our monument will be this toil.
Some future ones will someday see
      How we have labored mightily
      To save this Detroit legacy,
And meanwhile made a friend or three.

I had 1 back in the early 90s with the 2v Cleveland and after a little tweaking and some Cragar SS's on her,she screamed! The Montego mx's were much less rare compared to the gt's. That 59 Stratocaster was so cool, take it home, pleeease, and the 61 Biscayne, the aqua is lonely and would like another of its kind. That Pontiac delivery would be an awesome editon and what's the gray 4 door off to the right at 14:38, it looks very complete. Oh guys I'm just lovin all these beautys and would like to take so many home, but I can't so you'll have to do it for me, just like I found a home with you guys of seeing some of my faves ,wish I had, cars and all the other unique ones and that you just save them, make them operable and even presentable. Thank you Scott

Great Idea from watching this video. Put a small solar panel out side the your 1959 Dodge Viscount, place a battery and different color led lights inside the cars and have a cool light light show at night, power from the house can be used, lights come on only at night!

Anyone who drives around an old junkyard pointing out the Biscaynes is all right! But you missed a pretty red ‘61 Biscayne or BelAir early on. Keep having fun! It’s fun to watch!

Alright, let's try this again(somehow I lost the original comment)...Today on "Why aren't I in Canada?" I discover that I haven't watched enough of the early CWM magic, as I'm under the impression that you guys are holding the automotive equivalent of the Magic Kingdom across the border. Coyote Auto - you've got at least 6 cars I want - starting w/the 2 Cordobas, then there's some Furys, oh yeah - & that Canadian Pontiac Sedan Delivery would make a nice work(as in fun) project. No Scott - I'm not forgetting about your collection - if you ever hear about some nut winning the Lotto & announcing a trip to Canada...hide the Belvedere. Unfortunately(or fortunately, depending on your POV), I've got more sense than space or money. And that's depending on who you ask - I believe I mentioned how many cars I had at home back in the late '90's (& that was a home w/a carport and 2-car garage) & I still found something to drive home in. So Agent 7889 is not the only one who might need time w/a shrink :) So, Frankers is getting her own channel, "Classic Darts" is a riot - I'm sure there were some ex-smokers reaching for their #oxygen masks, as the hilarity caused them to lose their breath...and the '61 is slowly becoming more attractive, there's tons of great old Iron across the border - w/a collective determined to keep them from being lost to history. Did that last run-on sentence make any sense? No? Good! I'm looking forward to the next installment of the "Straight 8 Showdown"(I'm still pro Buick), the '60 Fury build, the '61 Belvedere, and anything else in between. Gentlemen, I salute you.

Ahh yes, another page of "Classic Darts". You have me laughing hard at 05:30 in the morning. I smoked for fifty years and quit almost 2 years ago. I did all what you're doing with darts in my garage at one time or another. You guys take me back FFS. This is better than any TV show or other stuff on You Tube....keep it up guys, you are a funny bunch. The automobile sections are very entertaining and instructional as well. SPIN-OFFS!!
Well, now that I've gotten the abdominal muscle cramps settled back down from all the belly laughs,
    I can type fairly pain-free finally. :-)
Seriously, there aren't many better ways a fella of my advanced state of deterioration can occupy my time
in the wee hours of a Sunday morning and I do look forward to it so!
"My Classic Darts" is just taking on a life of its' own. As I enjoy my own Salem Gold 100 (plastered all over with government warnings BUT still packing artificial menthol goodness, the way God meant it), watching that segment is pure tobacco enjoyment, by George. There goes SWM spin-off #1, right there...
"Will It Bolt?" starring Frankers the wonder pup is still in the development stages, but it's got the making of an instant classic if I have any idea here (and I don't). Spin-off #2!
Look for it on CTV, coming this fall!
I love the junkyard trips too. Made a lot of them back in the day, when there were still junkyards that had anything interesting in them AND you were actually allowed in them (there's several in this part of the country still, but
they've all gotten in trouble with the tax man or some such and have been closed for years now).
It's probably for the best or otherwise, I'd wind up with a Scott-like situation out here on the ridge, too.
I'm big on rescuing dogs as it is - imagine if I had the chance of rescuing junker Mopars, too!?!?
    Holy hell...the mind fairly boggles.
Be safe up there and know your efforts go a lot further than simple entertainment for some of us,
    -Ed on the Ridge
