I mean honestly, I think Jack's main thing for the car is to have it be as versatile as possible, so having more power would probably make it harder to keep it flexible for tracking and rallies.

Well for somebody who just purchases their vehicle and then has an 11 second car it’s just absolutely ridiculous. There was a time not so long ago where you had to put in a lot of hard work to get to that point.

@projectg7333 completely agree bro! Ran a 11.4 first time ever at the track with my stick shift 13' coyote. Lol all it had was a couple bolt ons, a tune, and a decent Nitto radial. Guy should at least be in the 9's even if that claimed 1000hp is at the crank.

I grew up around pro mods it’s just how it was jack has some serious potential as a driver
11 secs is bolt on 5.0 numbers.
The gears really dont mean much yes they help but its all about putting the power down to the tire ive seen single clutch cars with less gears beat dual clutch cars with more gears so thats not the deciding factor
Eh it plays a role in the deciding factor but not as much as one can expect, 10 gears is good but can even hinder performance if the car has to constantly switch gears.
That is singlehandedly saved by the fact the transmission can switch gears instantly, even if you had a 6 speed auto then you could smoke a manual if the driver isnt powershifting.
Manual has the fun factor, automatic has the speed factor, you got to pick your own poison on which one you want.

@@zachb9856 yes but at the end of the day what does it all go thru the tires and just like i said i have seen 6 speed manuals decimate 10 speeds so how did the gear ratios not help the 10 speed beat the 6 speed mr ratios
@@texasautoscene110 gearing determines how much torque/horsepower makes it to tires. all other things the same, a 10 speed will typically launch harder because its 1st gear ratio is way shorter than it would be with a 6 speed. also, you don't see many true manual low time cars. there's a reason Cleetus McFarland's Leroy has a no-lift-shift system. not having to lift is almost always faster

11.40 and a 11.69 in a Henessey powered Exorcist Camaro is terrible. That car should be delivering low 10 second pass all day. If Mr Henessey is watching this, I bet he is shaking his head. It just goes to prove having the money to purchase the Exorcist package is no guarantee the person is competent to drive it.
practice will get you there, that’s a 9.5 sec car, when you really know the car with hennessy, i did 11.4 with 750hp in my ZL1 A10, with a stock tranny tune. once i tune it, i should be mid to maybe high 10’s. keep it up bro! 💪
With more practice and welds you could easily get 10 sec pass 🤘🏼

I have a 2011 mustang. Dont laugh- just a fbo 3.7 with 6spd auto and 4.10 gears. Stock trans/converter. 75hp nitrous shot coming soon.Goes thru 1/4 mile in 4th gear at 6600rpm(as we planned/hoped). Runs 12.85 at 106-107 here in great air northern CA. With no slicks and full exhaust, as driven daily. Around town and 1/8 mile it outruns much faster cars. Beyond the 1/8 horsepower catches up. But im old and run stock ford mufflers(its quiet and mufflers of any kind add zero power). Neat cars guys. Very neat cars. 1000hp ' yes please.
