Nice video keep up the good work Jess
You're still missing a cup holder for your iced coffees. 😎
Love your motorcycling camping vids the best
Love your videos especially the camping ones you are the best
I lobe your videos. Keep them coming.
The smell when you wake up after a campout hits diffrent.
Cool add on! Deffo wil make a difference! Also, would also like to see more Athens & Surroundings, looked real good! Windy 9 sounds hype too! 💯
Noted!
Oof, that breakfast plate! Yum! Lol...thats a nice ride, 200 miles or more, 6-7hrs? Be a good one
Camping at my old stomping grounds! Can’t wait to do some rides down to Athens and drag you and Jordan to all the places I remember.
Enjoyed the video. I like seeing the upgrades. I will be hitting up some of the Ohio roads in June. I will be in Zanesville OH.
Have fun!
Hope you will be doing an in-depth review on your new seat. Especially the heating aspects of it. Great video.
I didn’t know Saddlemen had released the heated seats for the 2024’s yet. Guess I need to give them a call
I bought the Roadsofa and for the first 1500miles I hated it. But after it broke in, I was a huge fan…
Jess, food for thought. Concerning turning on dark nights and not being able to see where you are going you might want to look into some type of bright light to mount on your front fender with a dedicated light switch to turn on and off as needed.
Good morning, have a blessed and great day my friend. God bless you
Oh what a cliffhanger ending! 😂 can’t wait for the follow up Jess 🤘
Going to try the factor meals. That is the way my wife eats.
I seriously love them! Been eating Factor for a little over a year now!
That taller seat may solve your windshield dilemma
Near 70 years old now. Still riding. The first bike was a very well-used 1948 panhead ridged frame. Keep riding as long as you can. I'm still riding a 07 elelictglide. Wished I still had the old piahead 😅.
I don't know why harley won't go ahead and adopt the movable windscreen. I use mine on my Indian Chieftain everytime I ride. High speed long roads, I put it all the way up. Carving mountain roads or slow speed parking lots, it's all the way down.
that was a cute little diner! reminded me of the train car turned into a Restaurante. usually all the locally owned places have way better food and service!
This video has given me a bit of inspiration to try MC camping. Can you provide a link or description of your tent?
It appeared to break down quite compactly.
Keep those great vids coming and congrats on your new 2024 RG.
I have all of my gear linked in the video description, they are organized once you click the link
@HerTwoWheels
The tent in the link (Wolf Walker) looks much bigger than the tent in your video. The Wolf Walker tent is large enough to roll your bike inside.
I'm looking for a small/compact, easy to carry tent.
Thanks
Very informational, Hope to see yall on the high seas rally this year!!
Cheers Jess ! 😃
Horrible coffee, then I live in the coffee capital, Melbourne Australia! We don't do instant coffee.
Hello Jess that wind screen looks like it could go down going by what I see looks to me if losses screws your hubby know what I mean
Hi Jess. I am the General Sales Manager at Steel City Harley-Davidson in Washington, Pennsylvania. Do you by chance do appearances? We are located approximately 30 minutes south of Pittsburgh so I don't think we are too far away. We are getting our start with our UA-cam channel and I think partnering with some established influencers would be great. Since you're from Ohio and not too far away, we would love to host you for a meet and greet and maybe a ride.
I'm doing my first babes ride out this year. Can't wait!
Yes definetly more Windy 9. I am planning on riding down for NW Ohio spending the night at Strouds Run and riding the 555 on the way home. Thanks for sharing
Right on!
hey i loved the parking spot you 2 got ,pulling up to the restaurant for breakfast, right out front and you got a table that the bikes were in your view .Im am so annal about that ,if i cant see my bike i cant enjoy my meal ..
Jess why is it whenever you eat somewhere the food looks so darn good??? 😂🥰👍👏🏻🙏🏻
Great stuff Thanks Jess!
Glad you liked it!
Nice, I was wondering if you were getting another road sofa after APPA
If you love breakfast spots, check out Scramblers. They are in Columbus and Lancaster!
I’ve been!
I've ridden by that restaurant many times, but have never ate there. Definitely going to have to try it. I usually ride that route 550 over from where I am. That is a nice road to ride.
It's so good!
Jess, I have the Harley Day makers that integrate into the bike. I run them 24/7. I had a truck driver jump out of the truck at a stop sign and come ask me what they were, he could see us coming a LONG way away. I have them mounted on the engine guard.
Nice bike. Looks good with tour pack on the back
Jess, there a lot of different light manufacturers out there. I've used Motolight on my Suzuki forever. These are the halogen type, but they make LED now and with the Harleys, they use a caliper mount. They are pretty stout. The other mount is a fork mount. But both will move with the forks which will help light your way in a turn. I believe the other brand is Twisted Throttle. Those are on my buddy's BMW , super compact.
Glad you had a great time. Just suggest keeping wasp and hornet spray with you....
It's legal everywhere is VERY effective against creeps. Stay safe girl.
Last September I spent several days in a rental cabin at Lake Hope State Park. Dinners were at Jackie O’s and breakfasts were at Hang Over Easy. Loved both places. The riding in the Hocking Hills area is as good as anywhere I’ve ridden. Our favorite was triple nickel of course - a phenomenally awesome ride, however there wasn’t a bad road . Good video, love your return to your roots
That is awesome!
Your tires are not moving left to right very much if at all during turns at speed. A Street Glide would do the exact same thing. The Road Glide actually has more light since it's such a big light bar vs. such a small light on the Street Glide.
I don’t mind the Trader Joe’s all in one instant coffee packets. It has coffee creamer, and sugar.
Did Jess really say "fat & full" after eating breakfast???😂
That windshield from harley or klockwerks? How does it work?.....never mind. Should gave waited for the end of the vid.😂
Hotels only for me on road trips, my backs can't handle sleeping in the ground anymore.
One would think that Athens, being a college town (UofO), would have some great places to eat.
Looking through that bug deflector is horrible.
love your videos. Which stero upgrade did you go with?
How about I weighed 150 lbs today. Not too long ago (yr) I was around 200 lbs. Now eat very little greasy fat foods (darn) and no salt if possible. It just takes time and effort. YOU can do it......
I'm pretty sure you meant your faring is attached to your frame instead of your forks, right? Great video keep riding safe my friend
That’s EXACTLY what I meant lol. Don’t even ask me how mane times I miss-say the two.
I've never had a fixed fairing bike but I would think that the only time that would be a concern for forward lighting would be when you're going slow enough to have to turn your bars in the direction of the turns. If you're riding into curves while cruising at any kind of speed you're naturally pushing/pulling against the curve.
Could you tell me if that backrest is specific to a 24 seat design? I really like the height of it. Thanks.
Love the channel …. What tent is that one in this video please
Will this new bike fit in the tent you have with a garage as my Harley is 10 feet long with the raked front end ? Oh and will the Harley dash or GPS hook up to android as many cant stand apple Personally i use a map as i can look at it once and know where im going and what roads or highways to take But i dispatched in London on motorbikes with like a million roads the size of driveways here in North America in the 80s
Hey Jess what's with the lightning bolt tat on your hand
It’s a lightning bolt hand tat. That’s it 😂
@@HerTwoWheels what's the meaning behind it
@@jrtimm6421 Nothing. It's just a lightning bolt
Question - I really need an answer to this from either YOU Jess, or someone in the chat. I messaged this question to Saddleman and they didn't respond...is the Saddleman Road Sofa thinner at the tank? It's hard for me to really reach BOTH feet on the ground because my stock seat (Indian Challenger) is wider and seems to hold up my thighs I'm 5'8" and would like to be able to put both feet on the ground. It will really help me decide to purchase from Saddleman or not. Thank you for any help...
The Step Up would probably be better for you than the road sofa. I have a 31" inseam so I can still touch, but the Saddlemen is thicker than stock seats so you might sit up a little higher. The seats themselves are as wide as the frame.
Why did you switch from rokform to quadlock?
Thanks again for awesome videos and camping tips! Mrs Jess ☕
What type of sleeping bag do you have ?
Pretty sure ye don't want a Polio....try the POLLO instead
Ah heck, he should have had the coffee going for you. Shame on him.
Up hill, down hill into blind corners? Sounds like you were on the triple nickel.
We came very close. All the roads down here are VERY similar.
Try Lace, Grace and Gears in September in Johnson city, TN
dont eat bacon ham pork
what the hell kind of tent is that? no floor connected to it......your going to wake up with a snake in your sleeping bag or some opossum bite your ass.
Ohio has some awesome roads, you’re lucky. I love your vids. Thankyou and keep them coming.
Glad you like them!
I hate people with music blasting on their bike going down the road. That is just me. I have Bose noise canceling earbuds which don't require you to turn them up to hear the music and they are really quiet to ride with. I used to have just regular earbuds and you had to turn them up way loud to hear the music which sucked when you stopped for fuel etc. Hopefully see you in Sept at the campout. You STILL need to come to Oregon. Maybe when the F/A property opens here you can come out if there is a grand opening. Love the channel :D
I finally broke down and got a Saddlemen. Comfortable out of the box.
Next time your in Athens check out Big Mamas burritos , only order a half , a full burrito is way to much
Hi Jess, great content! Any brand of earplugs you prefer over others. Ive tried a few but none have been better than just ok. Thanks, keep up the solid videos!
Curious if you’re going to do more videos with the R18?
I'm going to assume it's a ride in memory of Jeff, and that makes me really happy. I miss the ol'Man
I thought right away it’s a Saddleman seat
It nice go motorcycle camping but East Texas is flooding and some roads are closed from flooding too! Mrs Jess
Great video. We like seeing your photos too. You should add them in more.
I can understand that you changed the seat and suspension.
Harley does charge way too much for their bikes and have the worst design for seats.
Come on every seat company knows the passenger seat is to be wide at the back for the but and close at the front for the legs. Not harley seats. That and the riders seat is to thin.
After market companies love them as they sell lots of upgrades.
Jess, this was awesome!! I did notice something, though. Is your left eye okay? Your eyelid seemed droopy on your morning wakeup at the beginning of your video.
Even at the little Cafe. A little droopy. Just concerned. Love your Factor75 promo, too.
That’s just my face. Thanks 😂
Check out the olight o lantern mini.. thing is amazing. They make a few different ones. One that hangs from the ceiling of the tent. One has a Bluetooth speaker. I like the plain one. Tons of light that last forever seems like
Why don’t we see you in the BMW much?
Cause I can only ride one bike at a time
Jess, I would check the size of your stator. I added electric stuff to my road glide and it couldn’t handle keeping the battery charged and I had to upgrade to a larger stator.
I eat full clean Keto, due to a medical condition.
We don't have that brand of food in UK but in UK I can get good Breakfast's higher proten and low carb 😁
That Diner did look intresting, I picked up a camping light that is solar and blow up had a few settings, 3x brightness and 1 flashing white.
Hmm wouldnt be bad for a diabetic like myself 14 grams of carbs and 7 grams of sugar ..not bad
I haven’t seen any adaptive headlights for the 24’s yet, but look into that?
Does riding on cobblestone roads feel any different? Really enjoying your channel.
The small Athens area looks really cool we have tons of that out here in Illinois Wisconsin and Indiana area makes for great rides on fair-weather days
Did you ever name the new bike?
I have that same lantern. It’s great
Nice touch with the letting on the seat 👍🏽
I luv that seat. And it's heated, game charger
I rode over 8+ hours and 200+ miles on it yesterday. It was DIVINE!
Killer Saddleman
Right! So comfyyy
@@HerTwoWheels Did I miss the link for the Saddlemen seat? I couldn't find the heated option on the Saddlemen site for the Road Sofa LS with backrest.
Good times! Great ride back home on the backroads for me! Looking forward to getting back down there and spending more time in Athens and the surrounding area. Cheers! 🍻
People always want to tell me how the Road Glide lights up the road better than the Street Glide. Maneuvering at night is exactly why I like the street glide better.
That's 100% not true with the 24 RG. 100% true and year prior. The 24's light up the night like no one's business.
@@AmericanBattlefieldBiker So you missed that Her2Wheels is having the problem with her 2024. More light is useless if it isn't where you need it.
