People employing binary logic when they separate Sonix into aggressive and defensive. Sonix is opportunistic. He attacks when the opponent is open, and evades when they aren't. His fastest sets are when opponents throw themselves at him. His slowest are when the opponent moves cautiously, so neither is initiating the engagement. Fox is the aggressor, which merely means Sonic is being forced to interact. There's no aggressive or defensive Sonic. That's simplistic and counterproductive.

Sonic was always fun to watch. Sonix has to think before he acts, and people mistake that for 'camping' but that's what's fun to watch. Rushdown players who don't have to think and just have to throw out hitboxes in hopes that one would hit are the real boring thing to watch,.

Spindashing is overtuned, an aggressive Sonic can effectively scare an opponent into inactivity about just as much a campy Sonic.
