I used to live in the flat above that pharmacy on Adelaide street in the early 2000’s The door with the arch is the front door. We used to have parties up there back in the day. It’s a bit ruckus around there, I was partly to blame for it back then though 😂

Hi, the doctors practice is closed and the empty land next to to it used to be the original blackpool grammer school before it became the comrades club. It was knocked down in circa 2018 after a fire.

Stephen…here’s an idea for a vid! Blackpool central station was, apparently, the world’s busiest railway station in 1911. Perhaps some info on the land where it stood since closure in 1964, and the plans for its future would make an interesting video… and you could do the research sitting down!!!

I had that problem with my feet when I was working and it is awful I bought some insoles that you can buy to put in your shoes and I bought them from ebay and they worked a dream znd I used to stand fir 12 hours at a time the insoles are brilliant stephen honestly mine was mostly in my ankles but gone completely now hope they get better soon xxx

Hi Stephen. Please take care of your foot. I used to roll a tennis ball as you can push your foot and heel into it. Also tighten up your sneaker laces so your foot doesn't roll when you walk. You want extra support around your arch. I gave up on the podiatry care as it didn't help and cost me a fortune for orthotics. The thing that helped me most was taking anti inflammation medication before exercising and wearing reasonable quality sneakers, tightened and a gel insert on the heel, only, as it doesn't squish the rest of your foot/shoe. I had plantis fasciitis and it can get painful, I used deep relief gel and Motusol gel and both do help foam insoles helps comfort while you are having to be on your feet, but rest your feet when you can .
...it's lterally a pain when something like that happens!...i've not had it but certainly can sympathise with you as i'm a sciatica sufferer, used to walk as far as i wanted! ... sorry i've no advice to give but i hope it does go away! ...maybe do another ride out on bike! ...all the best, Steve E...
I had same foot problem I was told to get a cold can like drink sort and roll it from back to front of my foot underneath it it helps massage the muscles
Next to alpine shop was Burton's bakery omg. After hard day working in a shoe factory on my way home I popped in to get a cheese and onion pie. Such a shame they don't exist now coz Greggs others don't compare
I suffer with plantar fasciitis ,I was given some raised insoles which seemed to make it worse personally I don’t think there’s anything you can do,just let it run its course when you have a flare up and perhaps not walk too far ,footwear made with high insoles helped me ,but your right it’s not very pleasant

Hi, Stephen, I've got plantar, I tried various insoles from Amazon, found a pair of cheap Chinese insoles that helped me, they feel really quite hard and unforgiving, but when walking they support your arches. Can't remember the name, sorry. I've just bought some slip-on Skechers walking boots, they're really comfortable and I have been walking a lot further, bit too soon to be certain, but here's hoping. Short term, Flarin ibuprofen tablets are very good for inflammatory pain, but pharmacy can give advice, it's quite common, my manager had it

You can get an injection for it as well, not tried the injection but if I got it again i definitely would. Be soon walking those streets soon my annual trip is coming up.

At 13:10 That back part of the Hounds Hill Centre used to be a huge toy and model shop called Beatties! I spent many happy hours in there!

I àm frequently in hospital and i have noticed that 90%of the nurses wear Sketches because of the time they spend on their feet.Obviosly comfortable.
A jelly heel in the heel of your shoe on the effected foot done it for me
