I can't stand it when families in these dramas play favorites. They don't even care about the female lead but try to use her as a stepping stone for their favorite daughter. But as we have seen before from dramas like this, the female lead always comes out on top with the help of the male lead.
Insult to injury they favour an adopted daughter. What it must do to your psyche? My own parents dont love me but prefer an outsider? She was right when she said why dont you look at yourselves and grandma...not an innocent child. But it takes years of therapy to be comfortable with that.

Overall a new aspect revenge reborn ancient drama.
I don't get the female lead's aggressive rudeness towards the male lead the first time they meet, despite him trying to help her. He just saved her from men trying to assault her (while she acted weak for no good reason and was nearly pounced on) but she turned around & poisoned him instead.
I hate that the FL´s character in this drama refused to acknowledge the prince/brother to protect him but, she could not even protect herself in past life but now just knows she can conquer the bad prince her sister and family without help. Arrogance at its worst, it ruins a good plot and makes the script trite.If you hurt someone with words and rejection it is cruel and to do it over and over again is trite that is part of this dramas issue...I think the audience gets tires of lies and deception in order to help the one you love this drama is full of that. Ml and Fl should have worked revenge together better story. Rushed incomplete ending that cut the story in bad ways.

While the FL's facial expressions and her scheming were wonderful, I could have used a LOT more interaction with the ML. Missed opportunity for a tawdry secret romance anyone?
Compare to other plays' not telling the truths that caused the misunderstandings, I agree the scriptwriter to design the FL taking the plan by herself as not to caused him involved the n her plans. She explained so many times, his involvement would made him the target and she would be his weakness to his enemies. Well done!

It's a matter of director's competence to spread the story out wide and finish it in a hurry. The actress is beautiful, the actor is good... The story is fun... but it doesn't end well
Great acting, great scheming from the FL, one thing that annoyed me was that the FL chose not to tell the ML and hurt him instead. I would be ok if she made this mistake once or twice but then told him, but even after 3rd or 4th time she still pretends to not like him and hurts him. I got really tired of that so I did not finish. But it was fun to watch the FL outscheme her sister and the crown prince. The revenge is nice.
