You're probably the only other person on the planet to ever think Serperior was a good pick for Smash. I created a concept years ago that I'll share some highlights from. Serperior would be really heavy, really fast, but rely on ambiguous animations that make him extremely intimidating to approach, but then he folds once the opponent gets in. Kind of like real snakes, where they're acrually really weak once you get in on them. His Smash attacks would involve coiling up and up to the charge frame, the animation for all 3 Smash Attacks is IDENTICAL, so he can just hold in thay coiled up pose and your opponent has to do a hard read to know which Smash Attack he did and react accordingly. FSmash specifically has Serperior jump really far forward, meaning you also can't just keep away, and USmash has Serperior jump straight up then quickly pull his head back. DSmash would be an extremely fast 2 sided tail spin in place, limd of like what you have. For Specials, I gave him Leech Seed on Neutral B, with an animation inspired by spitting cobras, which in real life spit venom, which is extemely acidic and can cause blindness. Leech Seed in hit would cause damage over time, similar to snake venom, because I think biting would be out of place on Serperior Side B is Leaf Blade, a Cross Slash-like move Up B is Leaf Tornado, and has Serperior charge a tornado around him then shoot himself up. It can also be held to charge it into Leaf Storm, similar to Hero Up B And Down B would be Coil, except I would make it a buff. I would make Serperior coil up during a crouch (as well as Shield). Coil takes about 1.5 seconds for the buff to activate and the animation is ambiguous, so the opponent has to constantly watch Serperior carefully to know when he does Coil to run in and punish him so he doesn’t get buffed. Except you also can't just run in when he crouches, as Serperior has an Uncrouching Attack (similar to Kazuya's), where Serperior does an extremely fast and fully intangible strike attack that keeps people out I do think you had way better ideas for aerials and tilts though. Bair is especially fun sounding
Ooh I really like that idea of using tricky animations to feint out opponents. I think your special moves work really well for a character like that, using Leech Seed like a cobra spitting venom is such a good visual
Absolutely, especially with how cool their colour palettes are (and how distinct they are from Serperior). I just focused on Unova-inspired costumes since I know Gen 5 has become one of the favourite gens recently and I wanted to include more references to the region
I want customizable specials to return, but with one rule. It has to be something really different that changes some things instead of doing it fast but weak or strong but slow
@kadabraguy9846 I meant to say 808 the robot show music notes to help him hit on beat I imagine two of his costumes would wear kale vandelay (villain) costume and the shark costume
I mean, the move's in game description says "the user attacks suddenly as if leaping out from tall grass," that plus the speed boost felt like good reasons to make this a mobile up special
Theres never been a snake like creature in smash, I think it could be very fun visually to watch it slither around.
The people demand it Sakurai: it's time to add the first slither-like character to Smash
What a creature. I never would have thought
Me neither tbh, it's kinda freaky
taking into account that a rich bought the possibility of using tera in unova
I haven't heard that theory before, that's a cool idea
@@kadabraguy9846 the leaf at the tip of the tail is a blade that can grow

I think that for its alternate costumes, it could have a couple referencing the other snake mons, like arbok, seviper or silicobra :)

but how does he punch with no arms? I'm confused. At least the kicking makes sense
Through God all things are possible

Sceptile there would be a drill in the tail because the iversaur has a ⚙️ on the coast and the seeds could be used as bombs there
Could you do chai from hi-fi rush?
I imagine 808 would help he attack on best with his 🎶 notes, symbols
That could be really cool 😄 Hi Fi Rush is one of the many games in my backlog rn, he seems like a good fit

forgot about the cut
the real problem is, don't have time to polish the game, but scarlet was really fun to play
what is blud talking about
I didn't like the way you used treil blaze.
