Couldn't have asked for a better start. *Brother's Keeper* is a very catchy title with huge biblical overtones. Looks like Kagunyu & Njoroge may have a lot to do with it. The quality is noticeably on an upward trajectory and the home settings an obvious upgrade. The three young power couples had the lion share today and they did not disappoint. Mr & Mrs Wandahuhu had stellar performances too. Kagunyū is all over the map in his lamentations and is operating under the illusion that the world owes him for all his failures. Wanja will either have to develop a very thick skin and *_turn the other cheek_* or brace for an all out, bare-knuckle fight with the in-laws especially Wathoni & Wambūi. That said, I must single out Martha as the most comedic in this first episode. Her persistence in trying to convince a defiant Richard to show public display of affection to her is hilarious. The exchange between her & the gīkūyū traditionalist husband has truly tickled me. Good job guys..... we are surely in for a great ride!
