My Cat also had some weird seizure but in his case it was due to old age, he got really wobbly and seemed zoned out i was so worried. Took him to the vet and the check up was all good and if it happens again just bring him in but doc said it was just cause he was old. Same age as your cat too 14-15 years old

Nothing happened for a couple days and we thought everything was good then the next morning she was dead. Vets couldn't confirm and only said there is a chance the seizure could have been related but I would never chance it again.
I lost one of my cats about a month ago. I'm old enough to have had and lost a great many animals over the course of my life, but it never gets easier. All you can do is give them love, make them as comfortable as possible, and let them go humanely when the time comes.
