Hi Kim. I am so excited to see your new Ellowyne doll! She looks lovely and very well looked after. I enjoyed hearing you tell some of the back story of Ellowyne and her friends. The blue wig looks great on Chasing Rainbows!❤
Welcome to the Elo addiction club. LOL. I did not know what the hype was about until I got my first Ellowyne and then I understood. I really enjoy these dolls and I have a feeling you will, too. That blue wig is perfection! Also, there is a rubber grommet in the stand. You may need to heat it up to get the post to go in - or like me, just really work to jam it in there. A hairdryer would have worked easier than my method. Great video and I can't wait to see what kind of things you pick out for your Elo. 💜💜💜
Right?! Me either! This week has been a whirlwind of getting the two dolls I really wanted plus some other exciting things happening in my dollyverse. Thank you so much for styby! 🤗🤗
Grrrrllll yes I am hoping I can step up and get her appropriately attired as a San Franciscan afflicted with terminal ennui! 😆 I for see spending all my money on clothes!!! 😀
She's beautiful and I love the gorgeous blue wig. Thanks for reminding me of the wonderful Moira Rose 😄 and I'm looking forward to seeing the earrings you make 🥰❤️🤗
Oh wow Kim !! I absolutely loved watching your unboxing ❤ and the piano music you chose is just perfect. So excited for you ! Can’t wait to see what you make for her! That blue wig suits her very well btw. Ellowyne is such a gorgeous doll.
Hi Mandy! I am so happy that you liked the music I picked for her - I always try to choose my background music to be a good match for the dolls - like what would they listen to and I really thought these tracks complimented Ellowyne’s permanent ennui. 😉 So excited to be going down Tonner’s Wilde Imagination path with you my friend. 🤗
@@thedollsthewitchandthewardrobe I’m so excited we both started at the same time !! I’ve seen that you finally got a friend for her ! I need to watch your Neema’s video. I’m so happy because today I won an auction on eBay for another Ellowyne. So I officially have two now (she needed a friend too 🤣)
@@mandyminiclub YES!!!! I can't wait to see which ones you got! I'm opening the subscription box now and hope to finish the video by end of day my time - so should be up when you wake up tomorrow. :)
Love her! I only knew of Gene Marshall in the 16” world before this. (Same shoe struggle, oy.) Love the wigs! 🤩 And her emo backstory, fun! I’d like to see her in some gothy outfits to match. Also, the bracelet w Robert Tonner’s face lol! 😂😂😂 Pretty sure I had one like that for Duran Duran 🤣 - Kada ❤
Kada after your video of Gene Marshall dolls - I looked high and low on eBay for one - and found a lot at very reasonable prices for the most part. I’d already seen March Payne’s unboxing vids for Ellowyne Wilde so she was an option as well. With a few collectors going all in on the Smart Dolls from Culture Japan - I was looking for a less expensive 1:4 to 1:3 scale BJD doll to scratch that particular itch - so Gene Marshall but then I thought I really want her to be articulated and the GMs that are were around $200 - so I thought if I’m going to get a 16” that’s in that price range I may as well go all in and jump on the Wilde Imagination bandwagon. Then I started doing research and when I found out her backstory of living here in San Francisco and being moody and with a Halloween bday - well, I was all in at that point! And that bracelet that the seller added - absolute KITSCH - love! That is so up my alley- lol. 😂 (PS Duran Duran - Girl I was so hungry like the wolf back in the days!). 🤩
Hi Kelley! Well every video I make starts with writing the script and to do that I use Google to research - I click on all the links and read all the tidbits I can find. Sometimes there’s videos that I watch or books that I consult - for example I have a few very good reference books for Barbie and even Blythe. Sometimes there isn’t much to work with and then I fill in the details with my own thoughts - like for the recent Silkstone Ponytail Swirl Barbie I made the comparison to the fashion from a movie back then called Bell, Book & Candle - that was my observation and something I could add to the video. This is why it takes me so long to produce every video - haha, I always want to delight and inspire my viewers. Hope this helps. 🤗🤗
Oh no! Another Dolly rabbit hole to fall down into. Love it - she’s really beautiful.
Hahah! Right?! I was hesitant to go down this rabbit hole but just like Alice, I couldn’t help myself. 😂🤗
Congratulations Kim, She is so beautiful!! 🎉😍 ❤
Thanks Dorie! I’m looking forward to the Wilde Imagination world! 🤗

Wow. She is really beautiful. That dress is super cute! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with her. Thank you for sharing her with us. 🥰
Ami - wait until you see her friend, Neema! They are both wigged dolls so could easily be styled as bald. 😍😍😍
Fabulous!! I love her blue wig! Can't wait to see the fashions you put her into.

Yaaaassss! 🤗 Btw, I’m planning a Halloween costume party for the dolls - so I hope to be able to make some cute spooky costumes for them. 🤗
Very beautiful! I hope to find one for myself!
They are going on sale on Saturday! 🤗🤗
Can you please tell me where you find the information on her backstory and other details like that?
