Day 6 Driving from Alaska to Arizona in the Fall | Sped Up | 9/23/23

Here I'm taking the long way to Vancouver through the mountains around Whistler. There were some pretty gorgeous blue mountain lakes that didn't get enough screen time here. Vancouver ended up being more of a wasteland than I expected. I've spent time in Seattle and I didn't think it was possible to get worse than that. I ended up on one street here near the end with hundreds of homeless packed on the sidewalks living in the trash. Ambulances running around probably picking up the dead ones. It looked like a scene from a futuristic dystopian movie. When I got to the Border next morning there Latin Americans trying to walk across into America with suitcases and everything but getting turned back. Pretty interesting. Didn't know that was happening.
