bro, I've said this for so long. igg is pissing on ranged squads. riders and infantry are given so many hero options but the only strong ranged squad for field is julia+louis. everything else will trade badly against other hero combos from different troop types (if armaments etc are the same)
the new lynne and bard are also not crazy strong either. bard is rally only but casey (rider garrison) will destroy ranged rallies in seconds. also, I like louis' 5 aoe damage since it will scare people from swarming it. bard just gets swarmed much more often. Even if the rallies trade slightly better, it's nothing compared to the upgrades the riders are constantly getting. casey made ranged rallies basically useless, but that's the only thing ranged troops used to be good at. in terms of field battle they get swarmed and killed first. they're also too slow to chase and run away. if they get swarmed they'll also fill hospital more than other troop types due to lower defense lynne is just awful in general. I tried julia+lynne instead of julia+louis and the trades were 10x worse. overall, not an upgrade to the *very old* hero louis. I think they should debuff casey. riders were strong enough when they only had field superiority. now that casey is the strongest garrison in the game you've taken everything that makes it worthwhile to focus on ranged. The balance used to be that infantry were garrison, ranged were rallies and riders were field. that balance is gone!
back in the day you used to atleast be able to chase infantry since there were no speed armaments and adut+miyamoto super speed squad. now I can't attack for one second before their squads have run out of my reach. sure, I could use chun+lynne for speed but that combo is so weak you'll instead be trading negative and they will choose not to run away
Bro, for future references, there are generally 3 type of things to boost your strength. The heroes, armament section and search section. Which one of them worth spending at the better? Although they are all significant.

Hell yeah I tried Cath on Antepede... oh boy... I used Bella and Bella's first skill did total 53M damage and Cath did 49.5 +24M with the combo so 73.5M damage insane...
From my persective the most important part of the game is VIP. And to get to VIp 13 is not easy. the sister skin and part of areil firepower enabled me to get to vip 13. At your level skins are worthless or make minimal improvments to your setup. So getting this skin anabled me to progress in vip and workshop. And the joke is riders are not my focus. As you save resources in this game for TC, you can do the same in the real world to get things like this.
they only do it because the players suffer and constantly subsidize them with money. If a streamer or UA-camr with millions of followers played this game, he wouldn't allow it, because he would totally hate it and it would hurt them a lot. that's why I think that they mainly go to Asia, where they are not as noisy about everything as in Europe or the USA

Workshop - armaments then heros, heros are the easies to improve without spending I wouldnt dump money into them compared to the other options
