When Price is in the mood, and the crowd give proper order, he's the best out there.
What i loved about this match was, gerwyn was very respectful about how he won. And the crowd were in good order, and enjoying it, rather than trolling and putting off the players. Makes such a difference
Price is in a league of his own right now , if he wants to win a tournament and his in the mood he’ll win in it simple as , didn’t even get out of 3rd gear really all weekend even against mvg just stalked him and hit him hard when it mattered 🤷🏽♂️ price for me is starting to put his legendary status together , his only gonna get better

@@Timesend : I agree Peter certainly can be in his league and better than gezzy but no1 over the past 16-18 months has been as consistent as gerwyn , you’ll hardly ever see price go out 1st round his 80% always in the quarter final , semi , final or champion we’re Peter and Michael do go out in tournaments in the early stages a lot more … gerwyn has just moved up an extra gear over the past year or so his physically and mentally very strong and fit , still A game deciders mvg is the best he wins with his A game wright 2nd and price 3rd but with consistency price destroys them both , his not frightened to play either of them now and his been the best on earth last 2yrs for me 😃
MvG gave him a good game and seems to be coming back to form. Looking forward to some great matches between them.

Yeah 9 times out of 10 the shouting is deliberate and used as a means to put the opponent off, basically it’s cheating.

Mensur Suljovic has such a weird (unique?) style when preparing to throw.. muttering (maybe?) and at the same time meddling and sort of spinning his darts before throwing them

The q-final with MVG was a great game. The final was trash. Price was not un-playable. Suljovic just didn't show up.

As good as he is, regularly hitting 100+ averages. He is not at the level of Phil Taylor when he was in his prime, regular 104-106 averages, as did MVG, Lewis and Anderson, darts was at a higher level 6 or 7 years ago.
