I was like you, at first.I was okay w/ GFriend, but I wasn't a fan. I started watched the show for Mamamoo but eventually started to really like GFriend.
I think you could first watch Weekly Idol with GFRIEND to get to know their names and personalities, otherwise you may not enjoy these Showtime episodes as much as you enjoy MAMAMOO who you already know a bit better. Also, Weekly Idol is usually more entertaining than Showtime, at least for me. Aegyo! -- Yes, I also just put up with the "aegyo" cutesy stuff in Korean culture. Occasionally it's amusing, but I'm still cringing on the inside. What GFRIEND and MAMAMOO both have in common -- and we saw it here -- is they really FAIL at the cutesy stuff. And they know it! 😂😂 SinB especially hates doing it. 😂😂😂😂 It's often the same with members of other groups, e.g. Wonder Girls, EXID, 4Minute, 2NE1, and some SNSD members. I wonder what these women actually think about this aspect of Korean culture. Some of them refuse to even attempt it, lol.

Good job with this channel :) and just so you know Sinb (gfriend) hates aegyo, and the members know it, so that's why they were surprised when at the beginning of the mission she chose to do aegyo, and they cringed/laughed when she actually did it😂. GFRIEND is really not just the "cute" type that you might think they are based on their concept, they are really funny, maybe you should watch them at weekly idol and you will see that they are always having fun and being dorky😄
you should follow oh my girl also they have 2 useless members but the group mad talented when it comes to singing & dancing just like Mamamoo but Oh My Girl is stuck with the cute dog whistle perv concept bullsh#t don't get me wrong i don't hate those concepts cause i'm a straight male but it gets annoying when the group is actually talented but forced to do that stupid concept....... imagine Mamamoo being forced to be cute

SEOULPOP Between oh my girl and exid, I think exid fits your taste better so you should check out their showtime. As for oh my girl, their performances will be better e.g seunghee on girls spirit, immortal song, yoa on hit the stage. Also both groups appeared on weekly idol so its a great way to start your journey.
not cool of to you drop B.A.P for bts? B A P is still my number 1 boy group the most talented out there. I only follow 4 boy groups and i only follow 4 girl groups... Oh My Girl' Mamamoo' Apink' & Girls day. for extra boy & girl groups it would be infinite & crayon pop thats it i don't want to follow anymore artist if all my groups die out? then i'm done with kpop

I'm sure it's nothing against them. TS entertainment just really screwed them over. I suggest you watch lots of different groups though. B.A.P will always be my number one but there is a lot of good music out there. All of the other groups that you named are great as well. Let's just make sure to support our boys and tell people about them. 😊
