When doing digging+building tasks where you were skipping every second tile to avoid trapped dupes, a trick you can use to up efficiency (rather than coming back later to fill in the gaps) set the priority to alternating 6-5-6-5-6-5 or raise the priority for build tasks over the average dig task so after each dig, if there is a nearby build it will take priority to fill in the gaps over making more gaps. This method is less effective than alternating priorities unless you have a devoted max priority builder / supplier
I always wanted to do an "offset " colony, that goes all the way to one side and the exit to the colony is next to the huge staircase going all the way up and down in the middle.
Without plants the only reason to keep the base relatively cool is heatstroke, that is if bionic dupes even get them Hatches also gets a -1 happiness penalty at some point but they don't die until boiling temperature
One elegant solution to two doors in a room for airflow that I like is one airflow tile, a door and another airflow tile. It looks nice and as a bonus it helps minimize spills(not as much of an issue with the bionic dupes) Usually I'll also make the 2 tiles on the edge near the ladder airflow tiles to help with airflow in the base, and it also looks good with the airflow tile door combo
i don't care 2 door method when you start spom supplies, i prefer gold door and 2 carpet tile on top of it, huge decor bonus for ladder segments. if airflow is not good enough just build airflow tiles every 4 or 5 tiles later.
I think havign at least one each of the advanced (8 chip) booster packs means you will have all the advanced skills you need. The basic ones don't give you things like masterworks decorator or Mechatronic engineer for example

Sounds like a good idea.

Well I find out next episode that bionic dupes can burn....
I really love your ONI videos!
Thanks
Good luck! Cool use of the battery to power the deodorizers.
Yeah it works out nicely.

But they need to step up and over each time?

I have an autosweeper and loader at the bottom of my massive latter well. Cuz watching the dupes trying to figure out gravity is amusing
You made more then a cross. There is a UA-camr that would say "it's the strongest shape" lol
And that is a big ass swampy biome
I should really ship everything back up the long tunnel.
Could you pump or place an auto bottler and bottle drop on low priority to drain the polluted water?
yes... it would use a lot of dupe time.
hexagon shaped base x)
Ok maybe....

Yeah 3+1 seems ideal
Did you check your dupe schedule after bringing in the new dupes? Also your dig through the lower slime i think you need some ladders to get across
Both I think I get to next episode.
You will need more battery charging banks and batteries overall for 16 dupes
Indeed!
Interlocking Gears as a shape. Lol It would take immense planning but would be cool.
oh my... it sure would. maybe a mini one out of tiles somewhere.
@@GrindThisGame Wooden tiles or metal tiles would look very good
illuminati base, like a triangle with an eye in the middle lol
Hmmm that would be cool...
I dont wanna say how many hours ive spent not knowing what the fire pole is for. I feel very dumb
Now you know :) I'm still learning new things after 3300 hours!
LFG!
YAY
your battery level is pretty low
Yeah... and coal will be an issue soon!
