Google will be deducting US taxes from payments to creators outside the US later this year. To avoid being taxed 24%, and potentially being double taxed, UA-cam creators and AdSense users need to complete the US Tax Information section of AdSense. This is regardless of whether you are a US citizen or not.
I am a UK citizen, though the process for completion will be very similar for any other non-US country citizen. - Навчання та стиль
Thank you so much! It is so refreshing to have a plain, simple video without music, sounds, pop-ups, swirls and "this is xxx comin at ya'!

Thank you :) Helped a big amount, will UA-cam return any paid taxes in the past 2 months?
so with the very last question. say i haven't completed this form till now and have received payments but they have taxed me / with holding tax money. which option would i choose out of the two??
Did everything correctly, still getting taxed.
Hello Sir,
I'm from India.
In Tax Treaty.
In 2nd option 12% or 30% Only Showing.
And 3rd Option 15% or 30% only Showing
Not Showing 0% . Is it new term or it's only for india?
When I check through my forms i noticed that the last 8BEN form for me says 'No Treaty applied' Rather than 'Default'. I'm kinda scared of continuing since I feel like I've done the exact same thing these tutorials like yours did for an individual tax thing but I literally have no clue why mine says that.
Hi camo, I don't think that's anything to worry about. For my forms you'll see I choose all three income type options, so got a form for each of them, plus a "default" one to cover any other situation. Logically those other situations are were no treaty applies. I would say they've probably just changed the title as "default" is less clear.
Worth checking the help page I link to, but I would say you're just seeing a wording update there.
All the best with your forms
@@Artexic Thank you so much for your response! I really got worried there.
Thanks for the video, great help. What happens after the submission ? Would they reclaim the tax for the earned money already ?
