Tears always roll down my face with this song. I had a non loving mother who was never around for me in any way. Men were always more important than her children. I cry because I always wonder how it would be to feel this amount of love for a mother. I am a mother of 3 girls and they are my world, life and soul. I know I'm not the perfect mother but all I can do is try and pray to be their best mother.

I too had one of those mom's. However I was blessed to have father (not my biological dad mind you) who loved us unconditionally and this song goes out to him. He filled some big shoes and thought me how to be a great mom to my kids. He was, is,and will forever be our rock.

Sorry to hear that. I'm not a perfect mom. I get sick alot. My kids have to help at times but my love is deep. I would die without them. I push thru bc of them. I now understand my mom and dad more. Why they worried so much for us. For all of those that grow in a cold home...know that you're not alone. God knows your sorrows. I'm glad to hear that you all are cutting that cycle.
