TM3 was my favorite for sure. This is by far the best Yela interview I’ve ever seen. You can tell him and Kev are real homies cause they were just chillen
Been revisiting that one and trial by fire lately. Each album is so special in its own way. For my money he's the best rapper and one of the most talented musicians ever.
Yela said, “There’s a Turkish verse!?” Referring to worldwide choppers Hahahah hes a trip. Nah but real shit I’ve been listening to this dude since 2010-2011 and he truly is under appreciated. His art extends beyond music. But his music alone is legendary. The dude is a real MC. A real artist/musician. A slave to his craft. He’ll always be one of my favorite artists.
I remember going to the TM 3 tour and I was hyped because I got to meet yelawolf and take a picture. I never met someone famous before and all I could managed to say was “big fan man.” lol

Im 30 minutes in just so happy this interview happened. Been a die hard yela fan around since 2010 and we haven’t had a sit down interview from him in so long, and he did it with the best interviewer. I remember their interview from like a decade ago Kev was always a fan
All those freestyles, Elvis Messy, Bloody Sunday and the like totally outclassed all his other stuff before or since. I wish he’d just drop all those tunes and a bunch of others in their vein on an album, it would be absolute flames 🔥
I don't think it's fair to say it outshines his other shit. Don't get me wrong I think those freestyles are dope, but tracks like Daylight, Opie Taylor, Unnatural Born Killers highlight a level of musicianship beyond just spitting bars. Also, in terms of raw hip hop, everything he's done with caskey is absolute 🔥
@@doseferatu Yeah, he’s got some good tunes, man, but his real pocket is just letting rip with his mad cadences, and they are so well showcased on his freestyle series, plus the beats were way harder than any of his official releases, way harder.

Great interview. I've been a fan of wolf since 2009. Wolf sent me a link to trunk music when he only had 13k followers just before he blew up. I got to meet him in Seattle at the ghetto cowboy tour. And he told us this Seattle fishing story was pretty inspiring. I haven't listened to any rapper more than Wolf since 09.
