Well, as an old Alevi, because I have no religion right now. The creator of bektashis was an alevi. In rituals of Alevis, the place they do it is named Cem Evi. Which cem-assemble and ev-house. Usually there are 3 people that is on the wall: Hz. Ali- nephew of Muhammed, Haci Bekatashi Veli- the creator of Bektashism, and Ataturk who u know founded the Republic of Turkey. I think that u have to search more accurately because alevism and bektashism aren’t much different from each other. Bektashism was the version in the city, Alevism was the version in the village. I know that in the ottomans for example the most special troops called Jannisaries were Bektashi. However, it is also known that Yavuz Sultan Selim killed too many Alevi people in Anatolia which can be said a genocide. Also pir sultan abdal who wrote most of these ballads was excetuted by an ottoman governer who ironically was raised in his Dergah.

Well, the makams are similar to the byzantine (Eastern Roman) music. Both ways are similar because of the coexisting of the Christians and the Muslim populations and the exchange of customs, traditions etc. Although, the makams have elements from the Persian music (Islamic and pre-islamic era). So, yes the bektashi music, which in my ears is similar to the mevlevi music, has greek elements, Persian elements and so on. Keep in mind that the core of the Ottoman culture, is Persian and Roman Eastern (byzantine ), with turkik (asiatic ) elements.
Also, the music performance is from Ross Daly, who lives in Crete and mixes many music ways(makams) such as Persian, greek, hindi, Arabic, Kurdish and so on. Thus, the background is not a pure bektashi music per se...I think that the bektashi music must have the saz instrument as the key instrument and not the cretan Lyra with sympathetic strings.
