The lore of this web series feels like a mixture of 'Andy's Apple farm', 'Amanda The Adventurer' and 'Baldi's Basics'. Finishing it would definitely take ages
This is actually really cool! I wonder why Tidbit's going after the characters instead of the player. It felt like a, "You think you're so smart? Then prove it", moment. It really feels like he's trying to trap them in some sort of hell inside the computer. Good stuff!
I loved this episode. Reading the video description, I just want to thank you again for all your hard work. In spite of the difficulties, you did a fantastic job and I'm honestly inspired by your passion and ambition. The animation is really charming and it has enough fluidity and subtle movement at times to give it a sense of life and eeriness. For example the screen-pull transition to the grass screen was really cute and the bit of animation where Millie stares at the screen got me genuinely emotional. The characters are really sweet, which made seeing how things processed upsetting in a really well done way. I think it speaks a lot to the quality of writing and presentation when I can have a genuine emotional reaction despite nothing 'horrifying' happening. I felt unsettled and deeply sympathetic towards Millie since it seemed almost like they were being prayed upon by Twobit. Subtly tormented in a way that genuinely hurt, but wasn't overt enough to push back against or object to. Which is scarier and more concerning the longer I think about it. Thank you for starting this series. I've fallen head over heels for it and it now lives rent-free in my head.
I meant to reply sooner but I had a lot going on right after the upload. This comment was so thought out and I really appreciated it. Its reassuring to know the episode felt how I intended it to even when we had so little to work with.
I already mentioned this but I was watching this with my cat on my TV this morning. The Merry-Go-Town sound spooked his dumb ass. This is beautifully made and I am welcoming for the next episode.
Headcanon: i think each of the seven teachers (not including Motley) represent the seven deadly sins, with Millie being pride. Tidbit is their torturer and makes them suffer by appealing to their respective sin. In Millie's case, challenging her to achieve something impossible.
This is pretty damn awesome I found you recently through the Mandela catalogue. I'm very interested on where this will go and I hope you can continue it the quality is amazing.
I know you have a limited team, but is there any chance you could put captions on this? Mostly they're really good but some of Emilie's lines are hard to understand. It would just make things easier for me as someone with an audio processing disorder.
Tidbit, if you counted every grain of sand the human mind wouldn't be able to properly categorize it, as well as this the amount of time it would take even for a small island like this would have erosion occur meaning the sand would be subtracted from. Overall Tidbit you gave an equally impossible task and justified it with parameters that could make sense if the task wasn't infinite, and even if the grass grew. The Sand would change due to how much time it would take, really Tidbit I'm disappointed in your inability to properly give instructions that can actually be done. If you set impossible standards then you will always be disappointed, Millie shouldn't be forced to count sand, what should have been done is count coconuts or palm tree leaves, this is much more pheasible. Well made, I like episode 2 can't wait to see where it goes!
I won't say much on the series itself but I have always been a terrible math student. The characters emerged during my desperate attempts to study for a test.

Tibit really went for the jugular

OMEGA, COUNT HOW MANY SAND IS HERE
The moment I came up with this episode, long before we produced, I knew that this would inevitably wind up in my comments
@@DevLunar I am glad to be the first, and I am so, so sorry for the hundreds more that are about to arrive.

What is the Mandela catalogue?
@@tortis6342it’s a very popular and well known analog horror series
5:15 Snapcube Sonic Fandub reference spotted
Not intentionally but I conceived the idea for this episode a year ago and even then I knew someone would think that.
@@DevLunar alr :D
when i heard count i was thinking of the snapcube dub i didn't expect millie to actually count the grains of sand
Unfortunately I knew everyone would make that reference but that was the plot I had for a long time
It was worth the wait for this video, this is amazing!
This is just amazing!

Oh yes definitely, I'll be adding them later but I was running out of time uploading this while in school

WOOOO HOOOOOO YIPPEEEE!!! HUZZAHHHH!!!!

...why do I feel like this series is a metaphor for the horrible education system of the USA...don't know why but it feels very personal to me lol

@@DevLunar Damn...and I'm guessing Tidbit is meant to represent a horrible teacher of a sort?
Chase of paw patrol in version furry with brazilian selection team shirt as a meme brazilian world?
I’m logging off
Womp womp
Honestly, is it just me or do the teachers some how represent the 7 deadly sins????
@@littolleafboi4981 Yeah, so far Millie represents Pride, since she prides herself with how high she can count
Get started. 🔫
